Last night was a little muted, maybe bcoz prices of fireworks 'skyrocketed' 3x. I remember when i was a kid, fireworks would start exploding as early as dec 22, and on dec 31 you can hardly walk on the streets as early as 4am. At 11pm, the entire metro would be very very noisy and this will continue till 3am.
