I'm always amazed at differences between prices for vegetables in California and the UK. White onions ars usually almost two dollars a pound. Specialty potatoes can be four dollars for a three pound bag. Also, one of the reasons I also grow lettuces and brassicas is because we're always having recalls on produce for bacterial infestation. That said, I also try to grow things not easily found ( thus, more expensive) and also more tasty and fresher than what's in stores. Plus, I love being able to walk to my backyard and harvest fresh herbs when cooking. I enjoy your channel and am looking forward to seeing what you decide to grow.😊
