I definitely think House of Flame and Shadow and the Bride are going to be five stars for me too. Lacey is reading The Bride because she has the arc, and she said so far she’s really liking it.

Always amazed at how much you read! Great job!! A few answers to these questions...I want to read more non-fiction/memoirs. I primarily read romance, horror and thriller so I want to branch out a bit. Some 2024 goals is to finally put up the fence my husband and I have been putting off for years 😂 the only 5 star predictions I foresee is anything Cate C Wells or Sophie Lark comes out with, they are some of my favorite authors!

I actually wish more booktubers would review older books. I mean don’t get me wrong, I like to hear about new releases too, but they’re harder to get from the library, and sometimes by the time I get it I’ve kinda lost interest or I’m not in the mood for it. CC3 is definitely a 5 Star prediction for me, but I’m also really excited for the 5th book in The All Souls Series by Deborah Harkness. It’s called The Black Bird Oracle and it comes out in July! I’m going to try and leave negativity behind and try and be more positive for this year!

@@christireadsalot It is young adult fantsay book called isles of the gods by amie kaufman!! it was my favorite book of the whole year!! the sequel comes out in july... and it had a killer ending!!

What I am beginning to hate is that every book turns out to be a series and leaves you hanging. I love stand-alone. Just read one and it turns out there are 9 more books! Nah. And I am a fan of the Path of the Ranger series but he is up to book 20. Talk about The Neverending Story (which, by the way, managed to tell the whole thing in one very long book...the movie is only the prologue BTW).

Standalones are great! But I personally do love a series more, especially when it’s characters or a world I’ve come to love and don’t want to leave.
