Its funny. When sewing I do one project from beginning to end. With knitting, I always have three projects on the go at any one time. It seems to work for me. Your cross stitch is fabulous Phoebe!

Gorgeous fabrics again. Vibrant, like you ladies. I am planning a Style Arc Fransesca blouse with the Liberty Sonny pink Tana lawn fabric I ordered from you. It is gorgeous, and I do love the tana lawn, so soft. I am waiting to start that until I finish the patchwork quilt I am making for my grandson for part of his 21st birthday present. He's chosen the fabrics, and he's very appreciative. I only like having one sewing project on the go at one time, though I have knitting or crochet to do as well usually, for when I want to sit in the armchair.

I agree Phoebe, embroidery projects not project! That cross-stitch is stunning, please show us when it s framed - will you be stretching it yourself? (I used to picture frame from home as a hobby/business, and I did lots of cross stitches back in the day. Ive got 2 at home with foam core waiting to be stretched). Thanks for those blockprints Kristen, as a boomer I used to love and wear kaftans and skirts made from those in the late seventies, and loved that vibe, together with the leather thong sandals and bracelets).

I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to finishing projects. I have a gazillion on the go and nothing gets finalised. About time I start, I'd say...😅

I'm kind of odd with sewing. I like to make up project bags with the pattern and fabric cut out and all of the notions needed to complete it, and I make them up whenever the urge takes me. I have lots made up so that if I feel like making a certain type of thing, I have one ready to grab and get started on. But then, I like to complete that thing, before I start on a new one. I do have more than one thing on the go though since some are sitting on the side because I'm stuck on some aspect of the construction or the fit. Once I work that out, they get completed.

Wow, Phoebe that cross stitch is amazing, well done! I’m so envious, I saw there was a Titanic exhibition and would love to have gone and a High Tea to boot 😍 please do it so I can live vicariously through you!! I’m currently cutting out a few garments at least one using a Miss Moresby fabric from Nerida Hansen (totally inspired by your bias cut Genoa skirt Kristen) love her fabric bases, great addition to the store. I always have a several knitting projects going t the same time, but with sewing, I am definitely a one project at time person! I also do needle work but not for few years . Looking for an Egyptian revival cross stitch or petit point to take up. Would love to find an app like phoebe used to construct her her cross stitch, And btw Phoebe, awesome work on your cross stitch!
