Had to a double take when I was going through my subscription list. Where'd you get your mirrors? I had the ones that TheRealTDawg had on but they're rubbish as they have terrible visibility.
@REDZONERIDER6 жыл бұрын
These are great wee ones. they are convex so even though they are small they get a decent wide angle. Things appear further away then they are though. I got them locally but are similar to these: a.co/d/eR8E8EX I ditched the provided expanding bar inserts and put custom stainless spacers that holds them in between the end weight and bar.

Do you have an Instagram account? Also get some CNC mirror hole plugs for where your mirrors used to be so they don't get water in them.

Congrats on the upgrade and update! Really nice vid and editing, only bad thing I noticed is that the video appears a bit choppy but I guess thats just due to you recording at 30fps but exported at 60fps for the slow-mo parts? - Anyway, keep it up! I´m also going for 4k motovlogs in 2019, we don´t have quite the same amount of sunlight at the moment here in Sweden but it´s coming, it´s coming! :D

Exported at 24 fps its due to having the shutter on auto. Waiting on some ND filters to arrive to get that under control :)

I am highly interested in who cut's it together or edit's it. As the music with the timing of the beat to the cinematography is rather on point. Pretty detailed stuff and really time was taken for a motovlog/video. So who was behind it ? All i would recommend is a polarizing filter someone how retrofitted to the go pro, stuck on or couple of ways to do it. Do get the details and contrast when the sun is blazing as i can see artifacts the sun causing compression for some reason ( prob compression method choice of how its dealing with it )
@REDZONERIDER6 жыл бұрын
I edit all my videos. Yes I think I mentioned in the video I was after some filters. They're on the way. Should notice a difference in a couple of weeks time. Thanks for your advice :)

@@REDZONERIDER Oh so you did. How'd you get to the stage of the pretty cool editing you did ? Also off tangent question i am in the middle of choosing vulcan S 650 or/vs Yamaha XVS650A. Do you want the latest tech/safety and ninja650 type performance or go with the old classic look with torque ( big guy). As the the xvs650 no only speed nothing else and placed on the tank hard to see position then upfront. Plus you miss out on the newer tech IMU ABS, Suspension, ninja 650 vs a vrod... As you seem you might of had it for a longer period to give way better advice than me just not sure long terms with the vulcan S. PS new to the channel and staying :)
@REDZONERIDER6 жыл бұрын
@@dexxeve9420 I'm entirely self taught, I come from a design and music background so I'd say im pretty switched on creatively. I actually make videos for my workplace where I'm the senior designer, so I'm constantly making videos and thought it was about time I found a way to incorporate it into motovlogging :). I've had my vulcan just shy of a year, If I had to choose between the Yamaha and Vulcan I'd still pick the Vulcan. Personal Preference of course and that should be your biggest factor. My reasons would be It's faster, Its highly customizable, two disc brakes with ABS... I prefer the old school look too but I've fully embraced the modern look of the Vulcan and love it now. Hope that helps?
@dexxeve94206 жыл бұрын
@@REDZONERIDER Oh wow ! As soon as you said music and design i was like nuff said. The skill syncing music to cinematography just mint!. In addition to you are a senior designer that pretty amazing skill you have to bring to bikes/vlogs. Over skilled in a good way. Man if you start getting bigger in terms of your channel you'll have prob the most exciting cinematography videos for sure ( i don't see that type of music of cinematography complication used much in any bike videos period). Your background is rather cool, no wonder you flow into creative vids. But your music syncing with video is prob the best i have seen in general music level production but on youtube ( i.e. i love it hence why asked ). As everyone can get expensive camera gear, but the music is same as everyone else that has or gets pro level cinematography. Also ta for the advise on vulcan s vs xvs 650. As i am thinking exactly as you love the classic look, but like the safety/tech of the vulcan. But the yamaha looks all metal and more expensive, if not a bike person they wont know what it is harley ? lol. As the vulcan doesn't look as expensive in looks. One question i see the vulcan needs to be pushed past 6rpm to feel it. So is it not as quick in the lower rev range? So would need go hard on?! And can handle it handle hard acceleration in lower speed or gears? How i found you was looking up vulcan s on youtube. So ta for everything and thanks for taking the time to reply.
@REDZONERIDER6 жыл бұрын
@@dexxeve9420 so the Vulcan just handles best at half its rpm limit just like most bikes do (9500rpm). It's not tuned as low as your conveniental cruiser so it runs best between 4-6k rpm. Hope that makes sense. It's very quick off the line and will smash most bigger cruisers out there in acceleration. It just looses out on top speed due to its smaller engine displacement. Honestly you just need to ride one. I rode a Yamaha bolt and the Vulcan. Vulcan was lighter and faster in acceleration. More comfortable foot position for someone my size. And modifications were more readily available.
