Nice purchase 👍 its a smoker too, I do have a couple steam locomotives, but I am more of a modern diesel locomotive fan, I like sd 40s for sure I have some sd 70 aces and dash 8 s , Csx definitely my favorite and Fec Train’s , I am in Fla and that’s what I grew up with I have Lionel and mth stuff, Happy new years 🎈Thanks for video 👍 (Eddie)

AAH Haa I know where I have seen you before... you're the Wendy's girl.... haha. When another enthusiast regardless of Gauge or detail etc.. shares their "joy" I appreciate the invite. Your Layout you pick the sound of the horn and bell... I think in time you could play Jiggle Bells using those different chores and forget those that will No.3 horn is from a Canadian Northern or a Milwaukee Road....hahahahah I like the exhaust feature does that smell of fossil fuel or potpourri pine scent would be nice ? Great loco Peachy! I watch these go by eastbound from my kitchen window here in Prosser, Washington on the former NP mainline, now BNSF.

I don't see the BNSF unit being too far out of place on the eastern half of the US. In my current town in northern Ohio, we see many other railroad engines along the NS Chicago Line. I can't count the many BNSF, UP, CP, KCS, CN, and even CSX units that travel the line. So, a BNSF unit in the south, wouldn't be too far out of place.

BNSF units have shown up here in the Richmond VA area as run-through power from time to time, although how much further south they went I have no idea. Anyway the fact is in this day and age of run-through power you might see anything anywhere. Never say never.

Happy New Year Peachy! And that BNSF unit's a fine aquisition! Horn and bell sounds? Personally I'd go with #1 on both, they sound more authoritative than the rest. "East-West, home's best!" That's certainly true, especially in my case. I'm from northern New Jersey but now live in the Richmond VA area. While I've got my Richmond 'roads for the layout ( N&W and ACL. RF&P's tough to find, as soon as RF&P stuff hits the market here it disappears! I'll have to make my own!) I lean towards the steam era New Jersey 'roads: Erie, Jersey Central, Reading, Lackawanna, Susquehanna, NYO&W, NYC, you get the picture. I say steam era but I'm not averse to picking up a classic diesel if they're on sale! 😃 So sure, you're going to lean towards those 'roads from the Dakotas, it's only natural! Fun video as always, thanks for posting!
