Fun, awesome video, Peachy! I'm playing catch up on all of the great Trainapalooza videos. I am really glad you and your husband made it to the event. I enjoyed your enthusiasm and your take on Trainapalooza. Loved to seeing your little ACL switcher on Jason's railroad too. You captured some great footage! Sometime when Mary comes with me to Detroit a visit to the Henry Ford Museum will be a must. I have fond memories of visiting there when I was a kid. Take care now! Bill B.

You're the only woman a husband could tell how much he paid for trains without sleeping outside.

As soon as i seen the road number 1523 I remembered I have an Atlantic coast line steam locomotive with that same number but in ho scale and it's not a 4-6-2 Pacific its a Mikado. Now i do have an Atlantic coast line Pacific locomotive with the road number 1516 also in ho scale.

Thank you for sharing this great video! I especially love the Halloween train. If you find out the boxcar with a coffins in it let me know. I can't seem to find that car anywhere for my Halloween consist. And I'm so glad that you had the opportunity to go to the Henry Ford. I worked there for 20 years in marketing. It's an awesome experience.

Too much fun, i seen Stu Ratkin in the crowd. It has to be quite the event to get such a group of enthusiasts together in one event, like a York meet, without the crowds. You were at the right place.

Those were great pictures of the layouts. The pics of the Allegany at the Henry Ford Museum with you in the cab were wonderful to see. Too bad you missed Norm's layout. I think he's the king of weathering his trains. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Great trip report Peachy, and thanks for bringing us along! There's not much I can add except to confirm your impression of that C&O Allegheny. There's one at the B&O Museum in Baltimore and let me tell you folks, the SIZE of the thing will take your breath away! Just like a Big Boy photos of an Allegheny don't do it justice, you have to see the thing "Up close and personal!" Incredible! A mountain made of steel! Thanks for posting!

Very nice! It looks like a great time was had by all. I've met Jason a couple of times at the York show and he is very down-to-earth and pleasant to talk to. I retired from Norfolk Southern and donated an NS pub table to him, since he models mostly NS. It is too bad that you missed a few of the layouts, but there is a lot to take in and only a short time to do so. It is neat to see so many of the well-known KZbinr's in one place, enjoying the great layouts and the historic areas in Detroit. The museum is just superb and the H8, my favorite articulated locomotive, is incredible, especially up close. Your videos are always excellent and I look forward to each one.

Great job on your video! I had never heard of Trainaplooza and really amazed by the incredible layouts, also the HF Museum . I visited there in the early 70's as a teenager and it was great to see the fabulous RR exhibits. Thanks for the terrific video, I love your enthusiasm for the hobby!
