Umm Jody - I think the clear liquid inside those chocolate covered cheries is kirsch - ie liquor. Agree that the pink or white milky creamy type liquid is gross around those cherries. Those chocolate covered cherries in any brand are one of my favourite types of chocolates but a little too sweet.
