I'm kinda with you on spending less and buying only stuff I really want, 2 main reasons: 1) money 2) I'm running out of space. We will see what 2024 brings, I just got 3x new battlepacks because one retailer had them 30% off and I wanted to buy some in the future anyway, but I think that is enough. On my wishlist for this year it Ghost II, Monkie Kid City of Lanterns (maybe), Hagrid's Hut (because I missed the last one) and then the new 2 little Sonic sets

I bought, all for parts/minifigs, the chinese new year parade set that was 60% off, the christmas star wars diorama, and a handful of the Marvel CMF. Thats about all I do for purchasing. That is buy sets I want usually for semi-permenant display or for parts. Some of them are onlyndisplayed seasonally and some are modified to fit the season. Like Hagrids hut will probably be part of a creepy pumpkin patch. Other than that I'm really focusing on just buying a wide variety of parts to allow creative building. Then if I find something I really like I can buy more parts to replace what I've used or if I need more to finish a build. I usually restrict purchases until I can get GWP I want, a good sale, or something like double VIP points.

For 2024 I need to catch up on UCS sets. I got the Razor Crest for Christmas and that was awesome but I still need to get my Venator and Millenium Falcon as well. That is my resolution to get those before the end of the year.
