I could literally feel the Kirby's agitation, it was making my MacBook and the table it was sitting on vibrate slightly lol. Happy New Years Bill!

Amazing, I’ve got this same setup essentially in two family heirlooms; a Eureka ESP with the VGII and a Hepa bag, and our Kirby G5 (with the latest style flow tube) running Hepa as well. On top of that, I have one of the Prima tandem air canister’s from Riccar, which I love dearly and am sad to see are now discontinued. Safe to say, nothing’s standing a chance on carpet with these! 💪

They both did vibrate the sand . I have a Riccar tandem air that vibrates and makes dirt jump :)

If you have particles bouncing a few inches up off the ground, I could only imagine how much carpet is getting shredded and picked up. A good brushroll can agitate your carpet without ripping it to shreds.

I have done a lot of these and there is a trick to get the rice jumping. Height adjustment must be set to "too high" so vacuum barely touches the rug. What then happens is that the rug gets sucked up in to the nozzle causing maximum jumping. Works well on rubber backed black rugs often seen in those vacuum store demonstrations. Not sure if it works on flow through rugs.

The shop owners usually use a low pile black carpet with different fibers material that actually seems to be much easier for vacuums to bounce particles around in my opinion. They either use Miele C3 or Riccar Tandem Air from what I’ve seen mostly. Now, I’m not too foolish enough about how they’re showing me their vacuums are this powerful! 🙂↔️😏😜😎

Sharks power head does agitate very well, but the particles bounces a little bit, but not off the carpet though

Not the point of the video at all. Also, low pile carpet isn't affected very much by ground in dirt when compared to medium or high pile.

@@VacLabThanks Bill. I have been wanting to do some sand in the carpet tests myself with a new rug I got. I never knew where the sand was acquired, thanks again!

Hey Bill, do you have a business email? I have a few machines I want to get rid of that are sort of obsolete unicorns and would love to give them to you to test on the channel (neither of them are modern Bissells if it makes you feel better, haha)
