Love your black and white journal set-up and theme for 2024! I did the black and white theme last year and it is one of my favorite journals. This is one of the most beautiful reading journals I have seen thus far. And I have watched over 20 videos trying to get ideas on setting up my very first reading journal. Oh yeah, I would use a grey marker instead of colors. I think colors would take away from all of that beautiful black and white art work. Tfs

I love how your spreads turned out. I would personally do a yellow marker or pencil crayon to colour in the diamonds for your series tracker. It does not have to be bright and if the book covers are going to be in colour so don’t think it would add too much colour. Either way it all looks beautiful

So beautiful! Use a gray marker and do some shadeing in your diamonds on the series tracker. Your spread is amazing in the black and white and that will compliment your gorgeous artwork. Thank you for sharing!!

You could colour your trackers in with a grey that way it fits with the monochromatic theme :).

Your journal is lovely! It’s so nice to see something a bit different and more individual. Although I do like to see the ones other people do with lots of stickers, tape and ephemera they’re too fussy for me and I just don’t get the random bits of washi tape overlaid everywhere thing, so something more arty and less ‘in your face’ really appeals to me. Well done 👏🏻 😊

Love your theme and spreads!! I agree that sometimes black and white looks best. This year, I'm planning on including some collage to the background of my spreads and keeping the spreads simple and minimal. I wish we could share pictures along with our comments.
