Thanks! It was a major upgrade both for the camera and the added microphone so I'm glad the quality is improved for everyone. Should be out again over the long weekend for more hunting and hopefully to create some more videos and to continue learning/using the new setup.

Your new set up worked really well in the windy conditions 👍 you are definitely knocking on the door of them phylosceras ammonites, you hit the post a couple of times today, great video again Andrew I hope the hildoceras turns out really nice for you 🙂👍.

Definitely still some tweaking to do to better screen the microphone with clothing when it was super windy like at the end of the video. It's a matter of time for the Phylloceras. It'll happen, just got to keep putting the hours in on the coast. Plus side of that is I get to keep finding all the Hildys!

@@dinoskoolyes mate but leave a bifrons for me 😂👍just got my last ammonites bk from prep when we went to saltwick.... I did find a small phylloceras (sorry Andrew) a hildy and a lovely dac commune with some nice iridescence on the outer whorle, and another couple of dacs which I had prepped, I'm getting a bit more picky on what I take home now to which helps with the weight on them steep walks bk up the cliff, I look forward to seeing what you find over the weekend, be safe mate.

I'm glad someone got a Phyllo! You had a decent haul too from Saltwick. Hope you are pleased with them all after prep. I've got a couple more things coming back from prep so can (hopefully) show them off all soon.

Went for a DJI Osmo 3 with the DJI mic 2. Was a major upgrade to my old camera.

New set up sounds and looks good. Windy conditions are always going to be somewhat problematic. 💨

Thanks! Glad you agree that the new setup seems to be working well. I've got a bit of tweaking to do with putting the mic under my waterproof jacket to reduce the wind noise even further but overall a good start. Will be out hunting fossils again soon and will keep trying to improve the quality
