Normally for the swatch pages I like to use whatever page I'm on, but I love how you can easily reference how you can use it all on one page. Very cool! Other things I like to do are to put my website and instagram either on the cover or front cover inside pages, I also like to put really big what month and year I started the sketchbook. Placing stickers that I like on the outside is also a regular thing I like to use. I'm a fan of buying the sheets of multiple stickers. This video was really helpful, thanks roxanne!

I do a lot of the same things when I start sketchbooks actually!! (I’ve also never lost a sketchbook but I always lose EVERYTHING else so the thought of not having my contact info in there freaks me out!!) I’ve never put post-it’s in the back but use them a lot so I may have to start doing that!! usually I designate my last page for some sort of “goodbye” drawing, sending off the sketchbook (because I usually only use one at a time). the only other thing I always do is write down my goals for the sketchbook in the start and check them off if I’ve completed at the end!! loved this video, thanks for sharing!! I might invest in one of these books for my next go-round 😄

I got the plumchester sketchbook its so nice and what I did is use the artsnacks stickers I got and use washi-tape for a good layout. Also decorative.

I put stickers on the outside covers and use the first page for swatches. The inside cover gets the month/year start date. Back cover gets an envelope. I usually carry sticky notes in my pencil bag, but I may need to add a few to the front and back covers.

I actually save the last few pages for swatches too but on the very back cover I paste in an envelope for ephemera or scraps that I can grab.

I include my info on the front page. Unless I have a special theme for the sketchbook, my first drawing is usually of all the art supplies I plan on using in that book. So, I draw my pens, pencils, watercolors, water brush pens, etc. Sometimes that first, white blank page really intimidates me, so this helps to "break the ice"! :) Great vid! Thanks for the tips!!

I start my sketchbooks the same way, stickers and my info on the first page, and swatches if I'm using a new brand. I also like to put a picture or one big sticker on the front cover.

When I get my first sketchbook, I take about a day just doodling on the first page to get used to the paper and my pen on the paper. Then, with whatever stickers I have, I load it up with stickers and I am ALWAYS looking for more stickers to put on my sketchbooks.... I love stickers lol.

Yes but you might have some bleed through into the other side of the paper.

The first thing I draw in my new sketchbook is a bad drawing, that way I don't feel pressured to only make mastepieces.

Does Art snacks include watercolor supplies?

Yes, they are sometimes part of the art box subscription (depending on the theme, etc.) and they also carry some watercolor supplies in their online shop. It isn't a heavy assortment, but they are coming out with a watercolor art subscription box soon.
