Dot and Ethel used to be so funny together. Eastenders was a pleasure to watch back then. Had characters in it who were actually likeable people. The current cast are rude, ill mannered, badly spoken pigs.

I was born in 1988 and I was the generation that was conned into going to university and pay £30,000- only for us to be in recession when I graduated! Every generation has challenges, I am guilty of looking at a previous generation and being envious.

They are all so polite and well spoken compared with how it has all panned out now-a-days. But the clothes look better now; here the clothes look like second-hand shop clothes. . No foreigners on the show; the chanel tunnel hadn't yet opened. No gays either! .
