New Years Eve at Disneyland 2010-2011! Fireworks! Crowds of people!

Here is a video highlighting some of the chaos on a very packed day in Disneyland.
New Years Eve- Dec. 31, 2010. Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, CA. It gets very crowded, very packed. Lines are long, people are shoulder to shoulder throughout.

I was at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on that day. Nothing can compare to how packed it was. It was a 2 hour wait just to get on Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland. That whole week was crowded. Toy Story Mania @ Hollywood Studios had a 180 minutes wait time on avg that entire week after xmas!

Hey i was there it was soo crowded. my favorite part was riding the matterhorn and seeing the fireworks while going over the edge while on the ride

i went to disneyland to ring in 2000 for new years eve...what a mess. anyone else there that day? it was insanity! i feel bad for you cast members -hugs-

@AJKSDCA I know! At around 11:50PM there was no line for Matterhorn! We rode it really quickly, right before before midnight (probably right before you got on!)

There are two worst days ever to attend DL, and you picked one (The other being the 4th of July). If you must attend, showing up at noon is another no-no. If you're going to all the trouble of going to DL, you cannot do it (shall we say) half-assed. Get there at opening, get the worst-line rides out the way by 9am, and then you can coast on the second-string rides on Fast-passes the rest of the day.
