Thank for the review. I’m looking at a roadie 15 vs hopper flip 12 or 18 for a day to over night cooler for 1 person. I wonder how that 15 compares to the hopper flips.

@@Miguel-ex5vf You’re very welcome.I looked at the hopper 18.Really liked the light weight .It was $300 compared to the $200 for the Rodie 15.I can be rough on coolers haha,getting lugged around from trip to trip.So I figured the road 15 might handle it a little better even though the hopper was pretty darn tough. Plus, I think the hard cooler would retain ice a lil longer.I don’t think you could go wrong with either.I am currently pre chilling the Roadie tonight,to start ice retention test tomorrow.I will get that video out as soon as it is completed.i sure appreciate the watch.Hopefully we can get 2 good days of ice out in the heat .

Can you do me a favor and measure the actual width at the base and about 4" up from the bottom? I know it measures 16.9" at the top but I'm curious how much slimmer it is (if any) at the bottom. Trying to determine if it might fit well in the rear storage of a particular kayak.

Doesn’t exist any older Roadie 24 with any other latches style. Probably was the Roadie 20

I bought this cooler 3 days ago. The ice only lasts 1 full day. The next day theres a little bit of ice left. Its not any better than my igloo. It just looks better but not worth $200. I bought insulation hoping it would work better but it didnt. Very disppointed. I went off a review on youtube and name brand. Now im wondering if the youtuber was paid to say it lasts for days.Because it just didnt. and he said it was hot all weekend and it worked well. Not true at all

@@nicolelacy4527 Noooo now you tell me haha.Ive got it prechilling now.Gona test it tomorrow.I knew it wouldn’t hold ice Like the tundra 65 I have ,it just to small for much ice capacity.But I was /am hoping for a good 2 days.Thanks for heads up.It does fit perfectly behind my back seat.

Lol i hope somehow it works better for you. I didnt chill it before the first use but the second day when I saw the ice melted, I filled it again with ice so it was chilled the 2nd time but didnt last any longer.....Cant wait to hear your reaults
