Hi guys, I'm a new subscriber and I wanted to thank you for your most respectful handling of your visit to the 9/11 Observatory. The VLOG was most informative. My husband was already at work that day at the New York Stock Exchange, which is a few blocks south of the WTC. Several NYSE people died on their way to work as commuter trains stopped at that station. Since he worked in the area Don registered with the WTC Health Registry. Twenty-three years later he just got a letter relating to a WTC Survivor Grief Study. Fortunately he has no residual effects from traveling to and from work in that area for months. Our son would have been in the building, but he had called in sick. Forty-two people from his town in New Jersey died that day. I can still remember getting the call while standing at the kitchen sink. We had thought a Piper Cub had inadvertently hit the building. What a shock to learn that it was terrorism on US soil! We have never been back.

I lived on Reade St. in Tribeca on 9/11 with a front row seat to the attacks from my home and have the expected issues that a lot of us New Yorkers have from that day. I still haven't gone to the memorial and I doubt I'll ever be able to, maybe someday. Thanks for showing it respectfully ♥

I was there on 9/11, l lost friends at the North Tower Windows Upon the World and Marriott Hotel. Thank y'all for such an excellent video. May blessings be bestowed upon y'all ❤. I went with my mum to NY for my 18th birthday in 1998. We sat at ate in the plaza of the WTC by the giant globe you spoke of, its odd to think back on it now. Later, working in a Kensington hotel we felt the impact of it, about half the staff being made redundant in the weeks which followed. I remember Americans sleeping in the corridors and conference rooms. I'm glad I got to see the buildings, it's never looked the same to me since. Glad you've had a good trip there, it's a fantastic city.

Wow guys, you got some iconic pictures in this video. Ground Zero has turned into the country’s greatest landmark of the century. I’ve visited there so many times watching all of the building stages that happened, from the hole in the ground to the construction of the new World Trade Center. Just a must see for everyone’s first time in NY. It just sets the stage for a great vacation. Just a 4 hour drive for me from DC making 9/11 the most scariest day of my life.

I have a mate i went through Uni with in the UK. He got a job with an investment bank with offices in the North Tower. He arrived in NY Aug and in the process of moving to a place in Tribeca so didn't go to work on Sept 11th. He couldn't communicate direct to the UK to tell them he was OK. I remember relaying messages from him via Australia to London. Geezus never forget that week, ever. (Rob now has a hubby and a kid and is living in Syd)

I’m new to your channel and I’ve just been catching up on a couple of your previous videos. Firstly, what a nice couple you make.. every now and then calling each other “boy”. It is so sweet.. I too live in Essex. I don’t think I’m far away from you however I am a wheelchair user so I am slightly more restricted with my travelling.
