I was a New Yorker for 14 years (last 10 I've been in California), so it's fun to see you guys so excited to experience all of my usual stomping grounds. I used the lower half of Central Park all the time--the best way to escape all the concrete, which can start to feel over-powering when you live there. The Toy Store did move from its original location at some point. Also, when I moved to NYC in 2000, the old Plaza check in desk was still open to the public. At some point around 15 years ago it became the residence lobby. The new public front desk was originally a small event space..

Another great and informative video!. Although when I lived in Spain and my property was high in the hills overlooking the mediterranean, and I am one for panoramic views . I have never figured out why anyone would want to live in an apartment block on its highest floors. I wouldn't be able to rest, waiting somebody to shout FIRE!.

Haven't been in NY for a super long time. Not that sure I'd live in the USA again. It was fine to visit but it can be a shit show to live and work in, especially dealing with health cover. I also suspect its going to get very dark super quickly. However, NY is unique (rather like London). Both their own world.. My sympathy over the Iphone e-sim - been there , bought the QR code.
