New York City December 2023 Walking Tour - Coney Island at Night

Coney Island is a peninsula located in the southern part of Brooklyn, New York City. It is known for its beach, amusement parks, boardwalk, and historic attractions.
The beach at Coney Island stretches for almost three miles along the Atlantic Ocean, and is a popular destination for locals and tourists during the summer months. The beach is also home to Nathan's Hot Dogs, which has been serving up its famous franks since 1916.
Several of the amusement rides at Coney Island are the Cyclone roller coaster and the Wonder Wheel. In addition to the amusement park, Coney Island also has a number of historic attractions, including the Coney Island Museum and the New York Aquarium.
I tried to attend the Coney Island Frost Fest, a holiday experience and the first ever annual event featuring a skating rink, rides and attractions, holiday lights, and shopping. However, it was closed unexpectedly.

I've been the coney Island early in the morning before the sun comes up plenty of times It was never really spooky cause there's always at least a few people chalking or walking on the boardwalk And watching the sunrise with the ocean view was always beautiful Plus there's always a couple lights on and start off the morning with IHOP for breakfast

Fun yet creepy. When you're walking among the deserted attractions, I get the vibe of a real world version of "Foul Play at Funland," the old Scooby Doo episode. "Foul Play at Frost Fest?" Even the spooky thumbnail looks like it could have come from the episode. And actually, according to their Facebook page, it was closed on December 17 "due to weather and related safety conditions." Your loss. Our gain. Thanks for the video. I'd love to walk through Coney Island at night, but I'm too chicken to do it. We older generation NYers just can't shake the fears instilled by the '70s and '80s.

@@SJF15 you can walk to west 4 st washington square park and take that D or F to coney island. If you want slightly less walking, you can take the red line (123) to atlantic ave/barclays center and transfer to DFNQ trains. I recommend walking through Greenwich village if it's your first time though
