I live a few blocks away from this place. The first time I walked in the door I thought I was back in Naples where I spent a few years as a kid. The place is unbelievable. Excellent service and staff.

I had a night time job, for 4 years, and next to my workplace there was a mozzarella shop. I was the only one able to give them coffe at 4am, and they used to give me fresh mozzarella still warm…best mozzarella in my life.

In NJ, the best places keep mozzarella at room temp in water. In some places, they will dip the mozzarella in brine (salted water) to really bring out the flavor before serving.

Never toast the bread after using true italian olive oil, you can toast It before that but then It Is not a sandwich anymore, It Is a bruschetta that Is a different thing

All I can say I WOW!!!!!!!! That's amazing the love and care into every part of the sandwich!! I personally would do alot less cheese but who knows maybe it's so delicious I would love it like that.
