I am doing a class project for the Liverpool Merseyside area, I have some questions: 1) How did you achieve the flat surface water effect? 2) what type of LED wiring did you employ 3) carboard or plastic, which is better for high rise buildings and for historical landmarks?

Very nice model, its Manhattan lego, well done, everything is so precise and beautiful just like the original, and as someone who love Manhattan so much - i really enjoy to watch the video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for being observant, anyway the flat surface are made of laminated plywood then applied with a glossy type of paint.LEDS are just the normal christmas decor leds.I recommend any types of board but it defends what kind of materials your proposing, but base on my experience plyboard are easy to cut to dig holes on it and its more cheaper than the plastic one.You can also check the finish product of this video@baybong38.

Hello Richard, this is AMAZING work. I am doing something like this to a larger scale but not on such a grand scale( if that makes any sense)? 😂 If it winds up looking half as good as this I will be over the moon. Mine is a Sci-fi scene. I would love to see your city-scape at night? From one miniaturist to another, one GIANT (but very small) high five. Best wishes from me (and all the mice in the workshop) 🔨🐭🐭🐭

@SuperSexyBoiGod Yah!you're right.but i started the twin tower which i've set 1 lego is equivalent to 5 flrs.and that's 110 flrs.so there's 22 lego's in each tower wrapped with a cast iron.I started from the map then made a layout then cut each blocks then took some pictures in every area to see how tall they are and do the rest with Google Map.Some major bldgs.are made with exact details but the rest are just referred to Google.By the way,are you planning to make one or just curious about this!
