The issue with the CityPass and Explorer Pass that I seem to see is you can't make any reservations for most of the places you might want to visit from the list. That means if a place is booked and you only have a certain amount of time to visit, you might miss out when you could have instead just paid a litle more or sometimes the lcoation is free but you can book in advance and get guarenteed access.

Oh that's a good idea! I HAVE used groupon for restaurants and always had a good experience, but it would be interesting to try it for other things and document!

@@TheMeganDaily the volume is low in general, but the sections when you are outside are even lower. Try adding some gain to the lav mic. This video has some useful info on limiter: NDWEnJNAKY0

Thank you! I’ll check it out. We tested the video before I posted and it was low, so I enabled “loudness” and turned the volume up, and the gain i find challenging because it tends to get too high and then static-y. I’ll check the video out!

Can You Advise as to where to Eat Thanksgiving Dinner In New York after the Parade?

Lots of restaurants will have thanksgiving dinner, but none of the menus are out to the best of my knowledge. In the past, I’ve really enjoyed Fraunces Tavern in Lower Manhattan. NERAI in midtown is delicious is will have a Greek twist. I’m sure McKeen’s, Smith & Wollensky, and Gallagher’s steakhouses will have something.

Oh great question and I am glad you asked Megan this question. I'm going to be in NY for the Macy's parade which I've never been to before. I didn't even think about Thanksgiving dinner. @@mereoxendine193 I'm usually working as a tour guide on Thanksgiving, so I rarely get to go out for dinner. I LOVES City EXperiences Bateaux Dinner Cruise in general, and they have a Thanksgiving lunch and a dinner, which I imagine would be really special. The only time I've gone out to eat, I went to Fraunces Tavern and I absolutely loved it. Most restaurants will have a prix-fixe menu and I haven't seen most of them yet for this year. Keen's Steakhouse has been a bucketlist item, but I've yet to eat there. It could be really special.

Very useful video however one important thing missing is that you don’t mention how you got from Venue to venue…cab?…subway ?? …walk ??…how much lead time to get from attraction to attraction to ensure you get there on time ??

I think that's a persona choice and will depend on the venue. I'm personally a fan of the subway and walking. We did a combo of both. No cabs for us.

I'm coming to NYC on September 18-24th 2023 and, I bought a three (3) day go city pass. You have two (2) years to start using the pass and you can get a refund for whatever you do not use. I've never been to NYC before. My husband and I are coming too to see James Cagney grave and Babe Ruth and to eat at this Italian restaurant called Coppola where James Cagney ate at before the year 1986. He died on March 30,1986. I'm excited can't wait. We are taking a ferry to the statue of Liberty. You do have to make a reservation for this with the city pass.
