I would have to say the South Tower of the original Twin Towers is still the best as it had the highest outdoor observation deck out of any of the observation decks in New York today. But of the five that exist today, I would have to go with One World Trade Center & The Edge as my favorites.

@@MagellanandGreyhound Same here, I missed out too but from what i've seen on KZbin, it looks beautiful. However the current observation decks all look great. The Edge really looks exciting and one world with it's cinematic elevator.

I went to NYC two weeks ago, every skyscraper it’s a new world to discover, but I cannot say that Summit One Vanderbilt was outstanding ❤

Great info and editing on this video! There are a lot talking about the different decks but this really is one of the better ones on the subject. Im going there next week and planning on the Edge during the day and possibly top of the rock at night. Thank u!

We LOVED One World Observatory. The kid wanted to be there BECAUSE it was that particular spot, and its meaning. But totally agreed on the best for family and for a date night. Would definitely take AnonyMommy there. You've GOT to see the Empire State Building to have the best view.

@@shaniqua.jackson that’s awesome! Yes, I was up in a high rise yesterday and was bummed the view was muted from the weather. Those decks are still pretty spectacular in all weather though. Gives you a great sense of the city. No video on the mall, but that place is on our list!

As we do Yankees & Mets artwork, we watch this vid. The one we've done so far is the One World Observatory. AMAZING at night. Not having been to the others, I think I'd pick Top of the Rock between them, though. I feel like I'd WANT a view of the Empire State Building as part of my view, not looking from the top of it. Agreed on the best date one. Would definitely want to take AnonyMommy there.

I’ve been to One World at sunset. None are these decks are bad lol. And yes in terms of pure decks, Top of the Rock is our favorite, even if Summit One is just so much fun.

Went to Top of the Rock deck for a clear evening view in 2012. Considering some of the other observation decks didn't exist during my only visit; (One World Trade was being constructed and One Vanderbilt wasn't even on the drawingboards) glad to here it's still one of the best. You feel like youre really among those skyscrapers!

That's a great way of putting it. Even with all the new decks, Top of the Rock is the only one that you feel like you're with the skyscrapers. Empire sometimes feels like you're trapped in a viewing cage.

Absolutely. That is a really fun one. No offense to Edge or One World, but of those remaining three, definitely do Summit next.

Top of the Rock is the best elevator because the lights up the shaft are so mesmerizing I don’t see why it gets so much hate

No hate here haha. They're all pretty great. We're just splitting hairs here since we're just trying to show people what to expect but also have our opinion too. I know people who don't care for One World's elevator reveal. Hard to go wrong with any of the decks. Just can't do them all in a day, and no need to do them all either 😀

No idea. Have they stated why? I see no posts from them. Apparently there was an elevator issue last year. Hope they open it soon for you.
