Yo! First of all: I love your Videos! Fast skating through cities using various breaking technics is great to watch, especially with myself trying to get better at urban skating. I got a little question regarding the little flick with your right foot at minute 9:29. Since I have seen that skill from various other skaters as well I am curious: Does that do anything for you (and if so, what?) or is it just cool looks? :-) Thanks and keep rollin'!
@thestutteringskater

Yoo, thank you so much for your kind words and support. I really appreciate it. That little flick of my right foot is something I got from Hockey. It's when I want to pivot fairly sharply, instead of having to manipulate the force on all four wheels, I just have to pivot on one. So I'm driving all of the energy with my left leg to make that turn quickly. Hope this explains in a way that is understandable.

Awesome video! Do you use Strava? It would be really cool if you linked an activity so we could match up the video to a map and aid in our vicarious skating.

Nice flow! Getting Nicola Torelli vibes from the flow + music. You seem to have LOTS of skates now. Im getting up there now with Black Friday purchases. Can you show your setup on storing them + overview of your current setups? Think that could be a banger video.

How long is your typical session and do you take breaks? I went out today for about 2 hours and maybe only stopped for a few minutes otherwise I was moving the whole time. By the end my legs were dead. Maybe I just overworked them.

if you dont have a snug fit (maybe a size too large, or bad quality skates) power transfer can be bad otherwise, if you don't exercise your legs a lot you might just be overworking your legs, 2 hours of continuous movement isnt a small amount, you're probably exerting yourself a lot more than just walking assuming you're not just slowly rolling around the whole time
@jambad
@jambad Жыл бұрын
@@___echo___ the fit of the boot is is very snug. It must be that I hardly take any breaks/stops,I should sit on a bench for few minutes every little while,it would certainly help.

My typical session when I'm going fast like this is an hour to an hour and a half. I deff take some breaks occasionally. But I skate when I can, so there isn't too much structure to it.

Are those Intuition Premiums? If so, how do you feel about them? Or the liners they are
@thestutteringskater

These are the intuition premiums. They are the most responsive liner I've ever tried. Once you heat mold them in the skate you will be using them in, they just up your skating instantly. I'm a big fan
