C train extension. This is from Lefferts Blvd, since it would make sense if the C went to Lefferts in the first place. From Ozone Park, the C would stay elevated, along Liberty Avenue. First stop at- 126 St - accessible, side platform, ordinary design, and connection to the Q41 and Q112 bus services. Along Liberty Ave, elevated. Next station! 132 St - accessible, side platform, ordinary design, and connection to the Q112 bus service. The line would go over the Airtrain. Stop at- Van Wyck Expy - accessible, side platform, cool designs, and connection to the Q9, Q112 and X64 bus services. The stop would be somewhere at Remington Street, because of the Airtrain underneath and the Liberty Avenue bridge over Van Wyck Expressway. Elevated, Liberty Avenue. The structure would go more elevated, because of the contents of the size of Liberty Avenue at this location. Stop atttt- Sutphin Blvd - accessible, island platform, ordinary designs, and connection to the Q6, Q8, Q9, Q40, Q60, Q112 and X64 bus services. The line would go underground somewhere at 150th Street, at would go diagonally toward Jamaica Center. Stop at-- Jamaica Ctr - accessible, island platform, nice architectural designs, and transfer is available to the E, J, and Z trains. Connection is also available to the Q4, Q5, Q6, Q8, Q9, Q20A, Q20B, Q24, Q25, Q30, Q31, Q34, Q41, Q42, Q44 SBS, Q54, Q56, Q65, Q83, Q84, Q85, Q110, Q111, Q112, Q113, Q114, n4, and n4x bus services. The line after would along Parsons Boulevard, underground. Next stop! Hillside Av - accessible, side platform, ordinary design, and transfer is available to the F train at the Parsons Blvd station. Connection is also available to the Q25, Q34, Q43, Q65, Q83, Q110, Q111, Q112, Q113, and Q114 bus services. This station is there only to provide connection to the Hillside Avenue Line. Along Parsons Blvd… Next stop!- 85 Av - accessible, side platform, ordinary designs, and connection to the Q25, and Q34 bus services. Along Parsons Blvd… Last stop- (I was going to extend the line all the way to Horace Harding Expy, but I figured that would be too ling and unreliable for commuters Union Tpk - Goethals Av - accessible, island platform, nice designs, and connection to the QM1, QM5, QM6, QM7, Q25, Q34, and Q46 bus services. Well, that is it. Hope ya enjoyed! Buh - Bye!

🫡🏆 thanks for taking the time to create and share. What are some minor and major things, that you believe go into making such an extension possible in the future?

@@wtaenyc I think with all due respect, the MTA should listen more to the people and not make decisions based on the cost. For example, everyone wants Queenslink, as it includes both rail and park, but the MTA has intentionally chosen Queensway, which is only park and no rail service, because of the cost and time to construct. I also think the MTA should restrict fare evasion, and include more security along the most fare evaded stations. This will give the system more money, thus allowing it to construct new RAIL projects. I understand that the MTA is doing all of this in its 20 year needs assessment, but they still need to act sooner and quicker before they lose money and security. I very much respect all the MTA workers out there, doing the necessary tasks needed for this subway systems survival.

Riding the C train does bring back a couple of memories, mostly the trains that are now history. My first time was on the rebuilt R-30/ 30A trains between 42 Street and 125 Street in Harlem. I called them the "other Redbirds". They were longer than the Redbirds that ran on the IRT Division that everyone knows and loves. The other trains were the R-10's. After a visit to the New York Transit Museum, I rode on them between Jay Street-Boro Hall (now Metro Tech) to Euclid Avenue, then waited for the same train for the trip to Manhattan. They were rebuilt and painted in the dark green colors of their predecessors, the R-1/9 class from the 1930's. The R-10's were used in the opening of the TV Special Motown returns to the Apollo. The cars had dancers coming out, then dancing on the platform and the stairs to the famous landmark. There were a few moments on the dearly departed R-32's where they ran local or a partial express due to track repairs along the line. Thanks to the camera up front, it was fun riding the R-44 train on this route. The door chimes on these cars and the R-62's are nice to hear. Speaking of Motown, condolences to the family of Barrett Strong, a long-time singer, songwriter and producer of many songs. he was 81. Thanks again for a great video, guys!

Did your 'resources' have to remove the recording device once the train stopped at 168th street OR did it stay on the front into the layover tracks north of 168th and then eventually taken off ? I know the tracks continue north under Broadway to about 177th -178th street where there is a five track yard. There were photos posted by people years ago but it would have been interesting to see the video proceeding towards it. Could be used as space for a connection to the Brooklyn Bridge, given the area this is in. I’m not saying that it’s true but given how there’s a separation wall between the spaces and they’re normal sized cut and cover bellmouth areas, it could be a possible remnant of history.

There's some history behind that. The Nostrand Av. station was originally meant to be a local stop with a full length mezzanine. Plans were changed to make it an express stop. That's why, when the C train goes to the lower level, you don't see a track coming from the other direction. The wall on the left was supposed to be the express tracks.

Thank you so much for sharing. We can’t wait for you to experience it. We can only hope, that during the wait, you can at least appreciate the work that we have started and continue to do, being that we are doing something that hasn’t been done before, in the same way we are doing it. Sending nothing but positive blessings to you and we appreciate your support.

What causes the A and C trains to make howling noises like this?

Great question, both lines use multiple types of equipment; which train equipment are you referring to? Would it be the older/newer model trains?

Valid opinion and we are sure some may agree. We are also sure that those who use this train to get to and from home, may not agree but we can at least agree that your suggestion for an expansion is great idea for sure. We send the system positive blessings that it would be something they consider, should the necessary resources be made to make it happen.

@@wtaenyc do you know of the brand new subway map editor, I extended the e to ozone park and kept the c at its original termination and two local trains in Brooklyn are good and the c won't have as many delays in Manhattan, especially with cbtc and the wider r211 doors.
