A very special shout of thanks and gratitude to ALL transit employees in NY and beyond in light of the recent shooting of a SEPTA bus operator here in Philly. Along with police and firefighters, let's not forget transit operators are also in the front lines when dealing with the public and face incredible hazards each day. My prayers are with the deceased and his family. WTAE, thank you for always giving MTA their props - they absolutely deserve it. Stay safe out there. 🙏🏾👊🏾

You will eventually need to redo your A train run with the R179 to Lefferts because it was not clean as you were stopped by 50th St. That normally would be a failure of a run and that is why I urge that you redo it, because it was not clean. That should not be an official run with the R179 A to Lefferts because they were major delays on that run and whenever there are major delays that is an automatic failure of the run. I know that at some point you will have two versions of the R179 a to Lefferts at some point because your runs continuously help make your company tremendously amazing and we love what you guys do so keep up the good work, and eventually, of course, update runs and return runs will always be a factor.
@ricko257 Жыл бұрын
I also saw in that run that the E went on the express track while the A was delayed, which is also not normal. (If u look very closely at the junction, u will notice the E going on the express track.)
@the_elmeister Жыл бұрын
@@ricko257 you’re right. So that is an official failure and I will have to delete the timestamps for that run because that was a completely dirty ride. WTAE, that run that you did with the R179 A to Lefferts is not official and it is not a good ride. It was horrible because of the delays. You will have to redo it if you want timestamps for that combo.
@the_elmeister Жыл бұрын
@@ricko257 at some point when he makes his return runs again, things will be different which I’ve always preached to WTAE. And now they are starting to realize that I believe which is why they continuously grow on their channel. That’s why he’s gonna come back to this and everything multiple times over time because update runs are always a thing.

@@wtaenyc so I think what I am trying to stress is The difference between failed runs and success runs. Normally you would have success runs because the run would be clean but when you did that A train run with the R179 to Lefferts, there were major delays everywhere and that normally is a failure and usually that means that it needs to be redone. That is why on Monday, October 9 when there were signal problems on my 5 train run to Nereid Avenue, the run was a complete failure and I canceled it towards the end because there were major delays everywhere and because of that I have to redo that on Thanksgiving break, I strongly advise that you redo that A train run to Lefferts with the R179, because the first try at it was not clean. And as a real fan or people need to realize the difference between a successful run and a failure of a run. Whenever there are major delays in your run, for example being stopped on the Express track at 50 St, when a local train got sent on the express track that counts as a failure of a run, and that will normally require you to redo that, also stuff like signal problems won’t come out good on a run and whenever that happens, it kind of draws fans away because it kind of takes away the experience and of course they leave a sour taste in everybody’s mouth delays but I understand that it is unexpected sometimes. However, the good news is when your 5 train via 7 Avenue ended up going on a reroute, it turned a possible failure into a success run and that is a lucky break but normally when there are major delays in a run, it usually results in a failure.

Unfortunately on the Nostrand Ave stop I saw a rat rummaging through the trash on the tracks. I'm sure you put trash cans on the stations and still it winds up on the tracks. This video was good and I like that it was with an R179 train, you're videos tend to be more smoother with the tech trains. But I have to say, the scenery at Nostrand Ave stop is a sad reminder in the nature society of New York and the subway in general and not to mention all the trash along the tracks of this line. I know how dirty the NYC subway can be at times but this could've been better without too much of it. I have a baby son and to be quite honest in the future I would NOT show him this video in particular as oppose to you're other videos as far as trying to enjoy a train experience (that's easy on the eyes) which is what you guys are trying to put out for content.
@wtaenyc Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the compliment and we agree to your observation, given the train equipment and our device(s), tech trains do seem to present a smoother, more stable experience. It is quite unfortunate as it relates to the garbage situation you mentioned. As unfortunate as it is that the trash is there, we can see how this perspective is bringing more awareness so that we all can do our part in ensuring its cleanliness is maintained. Shoutout to you for being willing to share these experiences with your son and as you mentioned your feelings, it shows that it’ll be up to everyone, to have a system where your son and all other younger kids can not only love, but appreciate and enjoy; we will manifest it.
