My Aunt Linda Price Webster sings Lead on this song. Am I proud? OOOHHH Yeah! Linda's voice was silenced on September 15, 2012, after a long struggle with health issues. We Love You Auntie. Keep singing! Thank you for the joy!

What a shame, such a good voice! Sorry for your loss! I remember immediately buying the 12" Single when it first came out! I also remember playing my drums to this song in my apartment over-and-over-and over again! I was hoping to find a former choir member or writer(s) of the song because I've been having difficulty in discerning some of the lyrics correctly to this song. I guess my hopes are in vain? :(

Thank you grand Master Flash, DJ Red Alert, Pete DJ Jones, and all the rest of the DJ's from back then....we had fun in 18 park, 49 park, St. Marys Park, the Black doe, and the Dixie club.....

Jamming to this jam at Kelly's Lounge back in the day in Detroit. The club opened at midnight and closed at 6 a.m. We danced our butts to the song all night long. I remember I had to sneak out the house and me and the crew would meet up at Kelly's lounge and dance like it was no tomorrow!
