Even befor the new prisons. It was Still crazy. They had to build different prisons to separate MS from 18st because the violence was so crazy they couldn't keep them in the same prisons. But now they got them housed together. And under super strict security that I don't think they even want to fight each other because of the repercussions that would fallow. El Salvador is not playing games with the gang shit anymore. Hopefully it helps thier country because it was looking like the wild wild west out there.

These documentaries are not 100% accurate. MS copied their gang sign to a sign used by people that liked Heavy Metal music in the 80’s. Also, it’s important to note that the gang that original 18 streeters wanted to get into, is called CLANTON not Clan. It’s basically the same thing, but for accuracy they need to say it how the gang represents itself.
