This is a recap of the 2024 New York Giants draft. I love the fact that we added several weapons to the offense, but we weren't able to address the defensive line and offensive line.

I agree that DT was partially a need, however I think the giants have faith in some of the younger DL on the roster like Jordan Riley. I think Riley has a chance to compete to be that 2nd interior guy next to Dex

Bad teams draft for needs. Most players play below average in their rookie year. Good teams draft the best players.

Sheppard, Slayton, Hyatt, Robinson, Hodgins & Nabers should be great if the o-line pans out. Not sure if Shep stays, goes or retires at this point

Bruh looking at all the giants fan’s comments across social media you guys rave about a qb first off we’ve seen drafts like this before where hella QBs go off the board but honestly probably only 2 or 3 of them will actually be good in the NFL secondly, when Eli was old a washed we got Odell and Odell lowkey turn the tide of our team we were back on the scene and we showed life to New York I feel like a great WR can turn this team around REGARDLESS of qb not all WRs have great QBs overall I think we killed it in the draft our defense could look dangerous and our offense could brew to something nice I think we’ll have a pretty decent season and hopefully nabers and Theo and nubin have a breakout season GO BLUE

You do realize that Odell was on the team when they went 6-10, 6-10, 3-13, 5-11 right? I personally love the pick of Nabers a lot but I would have preferred the drake Maye trade up. This was their best option since they couldn’t get drake maye. We do need a QB though but at least that new QB will have Nabers in 2025.

In 2021 3 of the 4 qb are all back ups. All 3 traded for 7th round draft picks. This time 5 go off the board and I can see maybe 2 even making a difference and maybe one.

To ur 1st point, every team takes players that don't work out from all positions, so why not throw darts at the most important position? And if QBs usually don't work out like u say isn't that more of a reason to throw more darts? Great wr would turn this round problem is we can't be great playing with dj?

okay Ive said this alot on other channels, people said alot of the things they are saying about Jones that they said about Eli in 07... that lead to a superbowl win ... secondly everyone said all the same things about Josh Allen... Dabboll and Schoen helped fix Josh Allen... Yeah do they probably want their guy... I think the Giants fan base just needs more faith... This is coming from a bengals fan who had to sit through some times... trust in things... A elite WR 1 is a bigger impact on a franchise then a rookie QB that probally wont start for a year.. besides you guys got Tommy Devito I say give him a chance to possibly lead your time... the giants is biggest concern shouldn't have been QB it should have been OL

Nobody saying the same things about Jones that they said about eli. Here are the things said bout Jones no pocket presence doesn't go thru progressions not good ball placement no anticipation stares down receivers. Nobody was saying any of that bout Eli. What I just described is the exact opposite of eli as a qb

The difference is Eli was good enough to turn a mediocre roster into a consistently winning team through his first 7 seasons. He was already better than a lot of people gave him credit for before he gave us two rings. On the contrary, DJ has only ever made promising players look bad with him under center. He brings the whole team down. As much as I’d love to agree with you I have a hard time believing that one receiver and a couple of o line moves will result in a breakout year for Jones.

Diggie, trust the process, think 2007, DJ has the athleticism, best arm talent on the deep ball in 2022. I think the talent exists for a fairly decent OL with attitude. If Neal doesn't figure it out we have a backup plan. This is year 3 of the planned process, most of the roster was selected by GM Joe Shoen, HC Brian Daboll. Notice no OL, DL, edge, that means that the front seven is set. Think of the talent available in its formation: DL Lawrence, Riley, Davidson; Edge: Thibideux, Burns; ILB: Okereke, Simmons; CB: Banks, Hawkins; S: Pinnock, Nubin; how would you think they would perform maximizing their talent. The pass rush will be legit. Remember this will be Isaiah Simmons first training camp with Giants. Stop thinking about the QB, look into the tea leaves and discern the climate in NY Sports. Multiple Champions are a possibility, if the talent on the 2024 Giant Roster is maximized what do you honestly think the possibility is? Go Big Blue!!

Go back and look at the olne. Go watch tape of the last year. No QB will play well with an oline that had the 2nd worst record of giving up sacks in league history. Fix the line, the QB can function with the increase in talent.

Do y'all really believe that DJ does nothing to contribute to his sack total(having the worst pocket presence I've ever seen in a QB)? Bruh make no presnap reads and has to pay the ball 3 times before every throw and has no sense for the rush. How can u block for a QB that does these things?

@@greenygreen4129 The homers are just ignoring that behind the same OL Taylor and DeVito easily outplayed Jones last year. And Taylor and DeVito aren't good QB at this point. Taylor is too old and injury prone and DeVito is a just a goofy roller coaster of a ride QB with no real upside. The Jonestown boys are just huffing on that copium.

I think Drew Lock starts tbh. They can use the excuse that DJ is rehabbing and they don’t have to worry about the injury clause which would guarantee a massive cap hit if he gets injured.

Did they finally fix the offense? No. Adding "weapons" does not matter if the QB is still the same guy. Nabers is great .... problem is no WR no matter how great helps a team that much if the QB is sub-par. It simply does not happen. He won't change THIS offense like OBJ did because the QB, all three of them, that he's going to play with ARE NOT Manning. Anyone thinking Nabers is going to be great this year is delusional.

Lol Eli had 30 tds and 15 interceptions with Odell and lost a playoff game look at Daniel with no WR n only a star rb had 15 tds and 5 int not even to mention his rushing tds we’ll be fine and lock has shown potential after that eagles game we’ll be fine

I get what you mean but Nabers absolutely can have a great season even with Jones (who I am beyond done with). Garret Wilson had 2 1000 yard seasons with Zach Wilson at QB. Now again I don’t think Jones is good but he’s definitely better than Zach Wilson. I’m positive he will go over 1000 yards

And Honestly I don't think Jones is better than Wilson, most of Wilson's issues come from him being stupid. trying to do things he shouldn't do. Jones just plays at meh level, and if you stop the DESIGNED runs he's a below average pocket QB.
