I like Flott over McCloud! I like how he plays the ball, his confidence, & his physicality. I haven’t seen that from McCloud yet.

As I'm writing this phrase it just came over the wire that we're STRONGLY interested in 8-Time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson. Yeah, he's 33 and closer to the end than the middle but like Al Davis philosophy teaches, age should'nt matter if the talent remains. Age is irrelevant if he could help us win, and this guy, with those youngsters, like Deonte Banks, can only benefit being around a vet of this caliber. Petersen could also contribute sliding over to safety. The secondary is still a work in progress across the board but like you said, regarding Deonte', you are on point. Banks is a staunch competitor with some swag, something you know I like, like former coach Jerry Glanville was an underrated cat as far as "D" with his "Grits Blitz" scheme. That scheme would rush 9 at the pocket, you read it right, 9 pass rushers making Buddy Ryan's "46" look conservative. It definately didnt last being it left at least one reciever completely uncovered. Gutsy but crazy at the same time. I'm not saying the our "D" should try this, NO, I was just reminded of Coach Glanville because of the '92 Falcons who were good and entertaining although they never captured a ring. We have talent but lack experience and could use a vet back there.

My wife is a Steelers fan I watched a lot of Steelers games last year. Peterson is cooked. I'd rather let the young guys get the reps.

As a teacher and to help groom the room maybe but he's still good enough to take snaps away from the younger guys and I don't like it. Flott is in year 3, Hawkins year 2. They gotta get the reps. Peterson is toeing the line of retirement

@@BigDashKnows True, but I like the experience, like a coach on the field and in the room. We don't have any of that in any unit. Sorry i took awhile, shutting down the laptop and gotta' bounce. Fridays' KILL ME! Busy AF. Will definately watcj and comment on ALL your stuff, you know your my go to guy on YT, second to none man.

Gm bro I disagree we don't need a vet stealing snaps from our young DB's they won't learn sitting behind a vet let them take their bumps and bruises and grow especially Hawkins 6'3" 210lbs and physical Banks 6'1" these WR's are huge that's what we need big DB's
@BigDashKnows22 күн бұрын
That's my philosophy that's why I said to stop drafting and signing over your current draft picks when they havent had the chance to prove themselves. .

Did you do a breakdown of the Dline yet? Cause we're going to need someone to give Dex and Nacho a break

PFF is a joke on ratings. They use subjective review with no idea what the play call was. So their numbers mean little. Of the two Flott is the better player, but his size worries me getting hurt. McCloud is a better slot then outside. As for finding a vet, the only guy I would grab is Peterson and after his Jones comments that's not happening. Flott or Hawkins is going to be the outside guy. Phillips and McCloud the slot guys. Wink asked too much of Hawkins mentality which cost him. Vanilla in preseason he showed the physical, if Bowens system allows him to get the mental game together he will be a serviceable CB2

@kingdee7434 it is sometimes but people swear by it. I will always trust my eyes over PFF but it's a good stat source
