3:50 - My favorite Bradshaw moment as that TD run clinched a playoff berth for the Giants in 2007. And the rest is history.

What a tough kid. What wasn't mentioned was the fact that the team called him "Eli's personal Pit Bull" for his outstanding backfield blocking. Ahmad would flat out stone heavier linebackers and blitzing DB's at the point of attack to give his QB that extra second. God bless you, Ahmad!! :)

Watching this shows me as a diehard Giants fan that we need more than just Saquon… I have been looking in the draft for someone with the same size as Brandon and Jacobs year after year, can’t seem to find anyone who fits that bill. It’s tough to find guys like him, Henry and Lynch… Jacobs and Henry are just built totally different, add some speed to the equation and it makes it so difficult to tackle these guys. I think Saquon could have a longer and more productive career if we had someone for short down situations, and just to give him a break For a drive here and there. It also is fresh legs… If we get rid of Saquon, then we need to approach this two headed monster, like the Giants had been doing prior to getting him. Most of the best teams have multiple running backs, we just have one productive one… Matt Brea has been productive outside of the Giants, with the Giants not so much… Maybe it’s because we see Saquon, then we see Matt right after him… it looks like night and day, you can’t have that. You need to have someone very similar in regards to productivity, or someone totally different in regards to speed, size, etc.… But serves a huge purpose! Even if the purpose is to make the defense really tired, beat them up, etc. That would in return HELP Saquon big time… So we will see if the Giants resign Saquon, I have a feeling that they will do something, even if it short term, especially with Joe making Saquon not available during the trade deadline. That could’ve also been Saquon‘s request. “don’t trade me During the season“, as he does have a child and family, and that makes things difficult. So we shall see what Saquon wants… Out of all seasons, we’ve had no quarterback and no line… So it makes his value look a lot more valuable than it typically would if Jones was playing like he did last year and even on the field. Our entire offense even goes through Saquon… Not exactly what we would ever ever want! If we can’t find a big running back, I’m thinking of the Darren Sproul type guy! Someone small with crazy speed who can catch the ball and just take off on a screen pass. But that would mean the Giants need to learn how to block, we have trouble doing that With five versus four! Lol. All those high draft picks, and they still can’t block… I know we have injuries, but the guys who are back ups are NFL players, not division, three college guys. We have to get this, right… I do not like the back ups we have currently on the roster, and I did not like our draft pick over the last year or two regarding running back… There’s no point of taking someone in the sixth or seventh round if you are not sure that they are 100% sleeper, or someone who should’ve gone in the fourth round! You don’t need a first or second round, running back, but you need to know for a fact like a Jaylen Hyatt, that this Guy Was someone who should’ve gone at least 32 picks/a round earlier! I had Jalen Hiatt as my number 1/2 wide receiver in the entire draft months and months before April! Anyone who can score 5 touchdowns in one game against Alabama/Nick Saban/SEC my opinion is someone you want to grab right away! The speed and everything else he had… That is a Baller, so I did not think we were going to be able to get him… And then all the sudden we trade back up to get him! Without a doubt my favorite move of the entire draft as I had him so high on my board. Time to make sure you get yourself a third round, running back if you do not take a first round quarterback/Caleb Williams trade up in this draft. And if you take one in the third round, you definitely need to get one in the seventh round, free agency, or even a sleeper that went under drafted! The undrafted guys you want to take someone who has high productivity throughout their college career, may be played at a smaller school… That’s the only thing holding them back! Two running backs for sure, though if you move on from Saquon… If you don’t move on from him, we still need to get someone in the third or fourth round, it will all depend on how many years the contract they give him is, if it’s only a one or a two year deal, then you need to spend a high on a running back. Either way, I’d like to split the carries 70% versus 30%… Picking up a veteran running back is cool and all, but it will take some time to get them going. And I don’t want to spend that much money on that position in free agency… I think it’s a waste when you can get a really good player in the draft! no tread on the tires number one, number two this salary is going to be super low, and you can take multiple cracks at it… Meaning you can get one in the third or fourth round, then you can go with the seventh or even undrafted, since you already addressed it earlier in the draft. I’m not sure about Gray, the poor kid was thrown in to do punts, and he was not ready to do that… Yes, he did it at Tennessee, but that’s not his forte. Similar to what happened with Bradshaw in this video… Coughlin threw him out, there, rookie season to do punt returns or kick returns, he fumbled it against Green Bay. Same exact thing, and, Coach admitted it yesterday I believe. Sorry guys, I’m using verbal text, I did not proofread this. Hopefully it it’s somewhat in English!

The Darren Sproles comparison was spot on..hard-nose straight up the middle type of player I think the G-Men lost their identity because of how the game has adjusted..Yes, a decent QB could make things happen but it's the Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw etc..was and still is where the Giants stand firm..not too much a Raiders fan but seeing Antonio Pierce get the respect that he's getting makes me proud..we need to bring back some of our old No-nonsense players on our personell

The video unfortunately glosses over Bradshaw's contribution to the divisional game against Green Bay in 2011-12. I believe they show footage of the run, but right before halftime, with a small lead over the Packers, Bradshaw got the ball near midfield and broke into the open. Rather than going for the glory and trying to get as much yardage as he could, he broke for the sideline to get out of bounds and stop the clock, while also getting enough yards to make a long pass to the end zone possible. Manning hooked up with Nicks and gave the Giants a ten point lead and really put the fork in the top seeded team in the NFC. But it doesn't happen without Bradshaw getting the yards and the time to make the play possible.

I think we can use a short yardage beast like Brandon Jacobs that can run the ball straight up the middle---no frills. That's not Saquons style. We know Saquon will run a DB over and not look back but if we're gonna get back to hard nose football we'll need truck like BJ. #BrandonJacobsandAhmadBradshawtandem
