The first song was singing was "Are you ready...yes I'm ready" By a 17 yr old girl, named Barbara Lewis from 1965. You can look it up on KZbin and the second is "Do you love me....Do you love me" by the Contours from 1988, I believe, and it was in "Dirty Dancing". It was about dancing, but "Are you ready?" is quite different & suggestive. But why was she recording the man making a fool of himself ? Or was this planned ??

I heard this recording with just the "do you love me" part and it sounded BAD. But hearing how he started it and hearing her laugh kinda makes this not seem more innocent. Still there are all the other accusation that they say are credible.

Maybe being too playful but since when is that a crime? Would she have felt safer if he sang Old MacDonald Had a Farm instead? The nature of the phone call immediately went back to professional when he said “are you ready?” Pfft. A privileged white girl who doesn’t know a light joke versus flirting versus harassment. Try going to a third world country and seeing what poor women go through just to work a crumby job at a hotel, restaurant, or gas station.

I'm sorry but there is something about this gal I don't trust. First when Kuomo ask if she is ready she replies with an "I am ready" in an almost sexy kind of way. Then she laughs as he sings over the phone and includes that she does "appreciate the singing" I hear no wrong doing here, but oh my god! Can you imagine if he had asked her if she can do the Mash Potato, wich is also in the song being sung.
