Great job! I grew up in NYC and this song perfectly captures the disappointment I feel when I go back to visit sometimes. The gentrification of the old neighborhoods is killing the soul of the city. Even Brooklyn is now overrun with manufactured pseudo-hipness. *sigh*

God this sentiment is SO cliche. New York is still fun, still interesting, still full of art, still awesome. It's just that people are starting out in Williamsburg and Bushwick etc instead of SoHo and the Lower East Side. And the authentic fun is still easily had in those new artistic places. Plus we're in a depression so pretty soon things will get cheaper and artists will keep flockin' in. Don't worry, LCD Soundsystem.
