Russ never really bounced back from the terrible circumstances he started out with (i.e. Hackett clearly showing he was in over his head as a HC). Since Russ can't put the team on his back like some QBs can, it was a match doomed to fail in hindsight.

@@greenAbbot in 2015-2016 season, Russell Wilson had the greatest 4 game stretch in nfl history by any QB EVER. This was without Beast mode, with a terrible O-line, and throwing to receivers like Luke Willson, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and Tyler Lockett (3/4 undrafted). Now I am, have been, and always will be a Packers fan, however I've been watching football since 1972-73. I have the utmost respect for the Pittsburgh Steelers organization. They've had some absolutely incredible teams. The Steel Curtain, The Immaculate Reception, and Super Bowl 🏈 after Super Bowl. Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Rocky Bleier, LC Greenwood, "Mean" Joe Greene, Jack Lambert, and Coach Chuck Noll. The 70's had some really great players on their teams. I remember watching the Super Bowl 🏈 the Minnesota Vikings versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. 16-6 the Steelers won. I used to like QB Fran Tarkenton, shh don't tell anyone, he was a Vikings player.....lol, and Packers fans are NOT supposed to like any Chicago Bears or Minnesota Vikings players. I'm sure the Steelers fans know about rivalries with the Browns and the Bengals. The NFC & AFC Central Division as they were called back then were the tough Divisions. The Black and Blue Division. Now the NFC & AFC North, they are still the toughest Divisions in the NFL. It's good to see Russell Wilson playing with the Steelers and playing well. He is a great player and I hope he can help you out getting to the playoffs. Take care! Go Packers and Go Steelers!
