Gonna be interesting if Zach's gonna start in this one. Even with that leg problem, he's much more mobile than Flacco, and that allows him to extend plays and scramble for yardage if he's pressured, which will give the Steelers defense something extra to worry about. I feel like this game's gonna come down to a last sec td or field goal

The key for _anyone_ playing in the NFL is to not even acknowledge the trash talk from the fans exists. Trubisky plays as if Scoring Once shuts it all down, then he doesn't need to make any effort beyond that. Seriously, he stagnates *more* in the 2nd half & I'm not sure if it's physical or mental. He stiffens up. His motion on throws doesn't even _look_ the same after half-time.

As a steelers fan um surprised they all picked Pittsburgh. The jets stopped Joe Mixon in his tracks. So the run game isn't looking promising. So we will have to rely on mitch "can't see the field" trubisky to find his receivers who will be covered by two top 10 corners in the nfl. I feel better about the defense, especially with the benching of Alualu. I just don't see this being anything other than a close game and it's absurd to pick the steelers across the board.

We might stop the run, and the corners are great, but our safeties are out there making sure Trubisky has some safe options to throw to, so you should be fine I do think it’ll be close though

Well my friend yes we are. Our defense has managed to avoid a lot of criticism but the fact remains the steelers can not stop the run in any meaningful way. Not when it matters. Also, Harris is not panning out be it the O line or his hesitant running style. And a bunch of other stuff. Going to be a long season partner.

As long as, OC Matt Canada is in booth calling conservative plays and Trubisky is still QB1, this game will be close for all 4 quarters unless, Pittsburgh falls behind at halftime or in the 3rd quarter. It is hard to say that as a long-time Steelers fan but, that is just being realistic over the first 3 games Pittsburgh has played, dismissal with a almost at the bottom of the NFL in Offense yardage and total offense. :-(

@James Hey, we shall see. I disagree about your POV about Steelers RB Najee Harris. If the Steelers O-line would improve at run blocking, Harris would possibly have more yards in rushing per game. And if the O-line would improve in pass blocking, Trubisky or Pickett, the sacks would be minimal.

It's both dude. If mitch was actually a good QB this offense would be average. It's in the bottom 3 or 4 in the nfl. Bad play calling, mixed with a below average qb, mixed with an o line that is improving but still finding itself is a recipe for disaster.

Steelers are 0-6 without TJ Watt. Tomlin is always going to keep them competitive, but this is just a poor matchup for the Steelers especially with Zach Wilson coming back. Sauce and Reed are one of the better CB duos in the league so I doubt Pickens and Diontae will be any issue. Elijah Moore yes needs to be more productive as Jeremiah said, but LaFleur keeps using him in the outside, when he’s a slot receiver. Put him in the slot and he’s unguardable. The Jets HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO get after the QB. Most expensive d-line has not shown up this season. Jets 27-14 Steelers
