Thibs been playing dudes crazy minutes his whole career, and he has the trail of bodies and underwhelming playoff performances to show for it. It's not a debate. It's medical and empirical scientific fact that excessive minutes leads to greater strain and higher chance of injuries, and missed games. Jalen Brunson went into the last game "questionable" due to his leg, played 45 minutes, and now he was unavailable against the Jazz for this game. Is Jalen Brunson not "built different?" 🤔🤔

Nice, steady game was without an injured Brunson👏 Tbf, i love to see this kind of Old N New School mixed type of Thibo' visioned NYK games, spiced by late game focused transmission basketball, but i don't want to be blind by the truth, there are pair of lights out shooting teams next to NY in this NBA, and this fact makes me stay on reality. This Team is contender...nahhh...TOP 5...definitely. But the way how they play the game is the best for me, especially when they should fighting hard. This NY Team has character, and heart. This is what I don't get with Thibodeau 👎🏾👎🏾. The Knicks were short of a couple of players, yet they played hard and well. Why didn't he empty his bench with the Knicks up Big with two minutes left? The starters played a lot of minutes. Their reward for hard work, was to be substituted for the bench. They played until the very end. This is how wear and tear rears its ugly head.

Thibs is a classic example of guy who should have stayed an assistant coach. He's too obsessive and narrow focused to be a head coach. He'd be great as a defensive coordinator under someone like Spoelstra or Ty Lue.

Yeah that's cool to respect and recognize the other players, and a good sign that the bench can play, but come playoff time the opponent has the whole series to scheme gameplay, adjustments and counters... when the play breaks down Brunson will get a bucket no what the opponent throws at him.

The distribution of the ball was more even, I mean, there was not much excess of shots without need, almost all players who were well positioned had a chance to shine, that's the idea, with Brunson that's a little difficult, because he wants to make all the shots, and he risks too much putting his safety at risk, just because he wants to shine more than the others.
