It is not about Brady playing football. Chris nailed it and didn't know it. Football players in contrast to baseball players are home during the season. Monday through Friday he is home. If he makes it to the Super Bowl he is off from March through June. Brady has plenty of time to be with the kids. The problem is that he is not engaged with the family. He brings the football home with him. It is 24/7. That is why she wants him to retire. Here is the problem, he might find something else to do, and still not be engaged. Tom Brady has a family, but he may not be a family man.

If NFL quarterback schedules are like day jobs meaning: 1. 9pm - 5pm Tuesday - Friday (Monday's off unless you're on MNF. 2. They only work 6 months and half the games are at home so there is no weekend travel. If players can get home by dinner time then what's the problem?

@@myshepspud1 I respect where Rob is coming from here. I usually reject the race card, but there is something to it here, IMO. Brady largely got a pass for that, compared to how other athletes are viewed. The fact is, he had a kid who had to grow up outside of his household because he got the mother pregnant and then took up with another woman, who he then got pregnant almost right away. No third party can know what things were like between them (Brady and Bridgett M). Maybe they could have worked out, who knows. But it was not right to his kid.

Football season is 4-5 months long.. add preseason, thats another month. Brady literally works 6 months out of the year. Math, he has 6 months off. He wakes up, goes to work, and goes home every night (minus those 8ish nights per year that he spends in a hotel for an away game). Off season.. he wakes up, works out, watches some film, and probably accomplishes all of it from home. He's rich, probably has his own personal chef, and can afford a sitter for the kids if needed. People are trying to bash his marriage, trying to bash him... but all it does is bash Giselle as a mother and a wife.

If he changed his mind about retirement, and broke his promise to her, then I can see why they've got problems. As a woman who had to raise the kids while my husband was out of town for weeks at a time, I can see why she would be upset. Some guys forget that marriage is a TWO Party contract.
