We saw SAS in uniform and there are stats for his final year; albeit, the record says 9, and SAS said first that he played 1 game and broke his knee in two and later said that he played zero games because he broke the knee in three places. Jemele Hill & Dan - two of the best out there. This is really sad. I lived in Kansas from 1999-2001, and back then Jason Whitlock was a local sports radio host, talking about the KC Chiefs and KU basketball coached by Roy Williams at the time. I never heard him say anything about other journalists, let alone other African-American sports media members. And Jamele’s right: he was terrific with his insights & analysis. I was sorry to hear what he’s become.
