DESUS & MERO, the Bronx’s very own, reconnected online in the early days of Twitter, where they unleashed their potent personalities and found themselves kindred spirits. That led to stints on Complex and MTV, the Bodega Boys podcast, and a daily late-night show on Viceland, developing a feverish following. The quick-witted duo brings a distinct voice to late night, delivering smart and comedic commentary on any and all topics, that keeps audiences buzzing. DESUS & MERO continue to host their Bodega Boys podcast.

I wonder if Times Square got the same alert because the businesses there use up all the energy. They can turn off the lights there during the day 🙂

lmao they're never going to do that - too much money made from the advertising. It's all about money they'd rather poor people die in the heat than rich people lose out on their advert money.

In Korea, in each city, we get an alert (or a few) a day letting us know how many people got infected and which area of the city.

You don't understand humidity. When it's 90 in New York you might as well add 10 for actually temperature. When it hit's 100 in NYC people start dying.
@jjsegal1915
@jjsegal1915 3 жыл бұрын
Idk about that, my friends from the South (FL and TX) aren't acclimated to NYC summers AT ALL. It's not just a northern thing, it's the population density that makes the air extra thick/humid - cramped old apartment bldgs, car fumes, nasty drips every time you walk under ACs, old piss evaporating out the subway. Plus they're not used to walking anywhere, or if they did, it was in cold ass malls. I call it air conditioner culture, if you grew up in southern suburbia you never have to leave that sweet AC. Or rub sweaty shoulders with strangers 😬 (this is why we gotta keep 6 feet distance even after all this is over)
