I lived in New York for one year and moved out last summer. I was supposed to be there for two years and was looking to permanently shift there. But god has his ways and ultimately it never worked out, so I had to move away. That had to be the hardest move in my life. Not one day goes by where it don't miss it. But somehow, now I can finally see how it was for the best. Love to all the New Yorkers out there, and to everyone throughout the world.

Born and raised in NYC Bronx. Left to join the Army and retired after 26 years to work in the Pentagon. 18 years later I retired again from my work at the Pentagon. But NYC was and is always home. My heart broke when I crossed the NJ turnpike after 9/11 and "felt" the empty space where the Twin Towers use to rise. And today it aches again. I love you NYC and the people are NYC. Stay strong!

As a new yorker I was scared when the cases started rises, 700 to 1000 people were dying every single day back in march and april, now only estimated 17 per day are dying in ny from covid now, everybody I knew was sick and hospitalized. People recovered, some passed. 51,000 new yorkers were tested recently and only 581 came out positive. New york has done more testing per capita on the entire globe. hospitalizations, intubations, deaths and new cases in ny are all down. Now, Considering the tremendous rise of infection rates in other states in the united states, I am now still cautious, but happy in the way things are now in new york and relieved to be living in new york man. But still ultimately am cautious because we're all connected and the infection rates can still rise yk. The rest of the country is so bad, over 17 states are now upsurging with the virus while new york is at an all time low. So if you're reading this, do humanity a favor. Wear your damn mask and social distance.
