New York summer associate life│published a book!│IP law writing award│ 🍣🍸🍽️

2L is officially over and there's a lot of update!
It's been great editing this, realized I've done a lot in my 2L year.
I'm happy and proud.
New York has been doing wonders for me, I've been really enjoying working and living here and am sad we only have three more weeks to go (it's a 10 week internship).

Sorry to hear about that whole fiasco with the "Uber". I was warned that it happens a lot at JFK. These "professional" looking drivers will come up to you to see if you need a ride. I think it's still safe to use Uber but I personally like Lyft better. Just always be sure to reserve your ride through the app. Lyft actually monitors the driver GPS and your GPS during the ride. Congrats on ending 2L well! Boy these law school is zipping by. Weekend fun outside of DC.... hike Old Rag (very great work-out. It's an 8-hr hike. Ideally do it with a friend or a group of friends). Spend the weekend in Baltimore. Come back to Philly for a weekend (I live here). Check out Annapolis, the Naval Academy. Check out wineries in Frederick Maryland. Go to Williamsburg, VA for the weekend. Come to Delaware and see Longwood Gardens (They have wonderful outdoor and indoor winter display as well as fun spring/summer events).
