You solved hard in the time it took me to do medium. Looks like I need more practice.

I think you will solve hard level faster as you get used to it, even though it doesn't feel easier. And more interestingly, somehow, I don't see my solving speed of medium getting shorter.

@@ChazK3-SudokuHard Thanks! Just did today's medium one and it took me nearly 45 minutes. O_O I think I'll wait to try hard until I have a bit more practice. ^^;

Someone mentioned that medium is often more difficult than hard, because it requires finding a naked single. I think they intentionally change the tendency of these levels, so we can get heavier headache.
