No way. Even full HD exists since the 80s in Japan, no one besides movie makers and TV companies used this technology. Today you buy a smartphone for 300 bucks which has 4K and you Film in better quality than a full HD camera from 1995 for 50.000

On my way on Amtrak from LA to NYC for the first time in late Jan 1995 I was told by a local resident not to look up too much, that's how all the hustlers can spot a tourist. But, like many shots in this video, as soon as I got there all I did for the first month was look up. How can you not? What a magic place.
