New York Travel Day - Virgin Atlantic A350 - Premium Economy - Heathrow - JFK - December 2022 - NYC

IT'S TRAVEL DAY!! NEW YORK CITY, HERE WE COME!!
Join us to the official start of our New York travel vlogs! It's finally time to go to NYC and we are so excited!
We start of the day by having an amazing breakfast at the Hilton Hotel, Terminal 4! This is one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had and the breakfast selection was brilliant, so much variety that catered for everyone! We then get ready to check out of the hotel after an amazing nights stay. We got updated to the hotels King Junior Suite and it was brilliant, make sure you check out the full room tour on the Pre Travel Day Vlog!
Once checked our we head over to Terminal 3 at Heathrow where the Virgin check in desks are located. Of course, once we're done at security, we have a browse around duty free before boarding the flight to New York!
We fly in Premium Economy on the new A350 plane which is lovely! We love flying with Virgin Atlantic. The crew also gave us a free bottle of prosecco as it was the start of our honeymoon which was so generous and lovely for the flight! Once we land at JFK, NYC we grab one of the famous yellow taxi's at the airport and head straight over to our Hotel to check in. We are staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Times Square West for whole trip. We do a quick room tour at the hotel, not surprisingly the room was very small as it is NYC and expected haha, but it was lovely and all we needed for our trip!
Once we're all checked in a the hotel we take a little stroll out on the streets of NY for the first time and stop off at 2 Bros Pizza for a massive slice of pizza, of course iconic for NYC before we head back to the hotel to end the vlog after a long but amazing travel day!

Hey Natalie! 😃 Ollie managed to get the hotel for 1 week for around $1900 if we remember correctly! It can be very expensive around Christmas time but Ollie managed to get a good deal on the Hilton with a price match that they do too! Thanks so much for following along! 🤩

Really enjoying this video on a damp morning in Watford . Happy anniversary. Funny thing with aftershaves is because I’m 52 I always buy one’s I remember as top quality and expensive back in the day . But of course time goes by and these are now regarded as old and not trendy anymore lol so I rarely buy one over 20 quid infact never . Something £50 now will maybe be a tenner in 2 or 3 years . I’m lucky like that lol . Cheers and the Hilton is a lovely hotel and that breakfast looked amazing . Thanks and I’ll start to watch you guys 👍

James go to aftershave is Dior sauvage! Virgin premium is lovely. Need to book a holiday where we can fly Virgin again. Ahh Ollie loves Dior Sauvage as well! They are both Matchy Matchy! 🤣 We just love Virgin so much! Will always fly with them if we can and in premium too, just always a great experience! 🤩 It was so surreal being in NY! Such an amazing city and so much to explore! Thanks so much for watching! 😃 Yeah, all the drinks are complimentary! You wouldn’t usually get a free bottle of Prosecco though, Ollie had gone to pay for it and the crew generously gave it to us for free due to our special occasion! 😁

would you pick 787-9 or A350 for premium economy seats? both planes are great.. But the Boeing 2-3-2 seems a bit more spacious?

Hey, thanks for watching and following along 😊 we’ve only done the 787 once, to Hong Kong in 2017 where as we’ve done the A350 3 times. We did probably just about prefer the 787 though as there are less people in the premium economy section, and like you said the 2-3-2 configuration feels a bit more spacious and the seats definitely have more padding, although the A350 is brand new and gorgeous 😍
