Orlando Travel Day - Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy - Manchester to MCO - Universal - Riding E.T

Join us for our new Vlog series to Orlando in September 2022.
We start the day off with an early journey to Manchester Airport, all we'll say about that is thank goodness we bought fast track airport security and if you can afford to do it, we would always recommend you do.
We flew with Virgin Atlantic in Premium Economy at the newly refurbished Terminal 2, and it definitely feels a lot more modern!
It was a fantastic flight with Virgin, as it always is, and we landed into Orlando MCO airport nearly an hour early!
There was no queue through immigration or for our car hire with Alamo (again we'd recommend renting through them).
After sorting all of that out we rushed straight off to Universal Studios to sort out the annual passes, and have a cheeky ride, can you guess which one?
We finished off a busy travel day by checking into the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Lake Buena Vista, so there is the standard room tour for you, and we went for dinner at good old Millers Ale House.

OMG, checking Flightradar to see how previous flights went is sooo recognizable 🙂 I'm one of those persons that has to have his suitcase packed and ready about a week before departure. I'll be a nervous wreck until I'm actually on my seat, on the plane, where I can sit back and relax 🙂 My next trip will be in 8 days, so as you can imagine, I've got plenty of butterflies in my belly 🦋🦋

Woo!! They are finally here haha! New video will be up on Sunday and then probably Friday’s moving forward! 😁 I know right, definitely better to get there early and chill out! Especially with how busy some of the airports have been in recent times too! We was just so excited to go again! 🤩 It was so nice to meet someone who'd seen some videos! It was a strange feeling but really lovely and hopefully we'll bump into other viewers in the future 😃 Yeah 100%, it was great and Ollie's family was so happy! Universal were just awesome! Hahaha, they've finally brought back the name at the end of the ride! Was so funny to hear the names again! Can't believe it's never happened for you guys lol! Such a classic ride though isn't it! 🙌 I know the extra charge was disappointing but hey ho, we was just so happy to be back in Orlando! The car was amazing too, such a nice car and was massive haha! We track our flight in the weeks running up to going too and check whether it goes on time or not 😂 and agreed, always touch the plan for luck! 😂 Millers looked great! Only been there once but did enjoy it. Great travel day again guys.

Thanks so much for watching and following along! I believe at the moment the documents you’d require are the proof of vaccinations, passenger attestation forms and contact details 72 hours before travel but I’d suggest it’s best to check with the airlines directly on their website for all the current information as no doubt it’s ever changing! 😄

How long did it take for you to get through just security do you think? I know you said an hour including check in...we have fast passes too going soon!

Hello! It was roughly 20/25 minutes for security so definitely better than the normal queue which we overheard from some people that normal security was over 2 hours! Thanks so much for watching too! 😄

How did you get annual pass? I thought only Florida residents get those? Can you please let me know?

Hey Natalie, Universal Orlando allow annual passes to none Florida residents 😊 We’d previously purchased these before the pandemic and due to being unable to use them, Universal kindly allowed an extension on the passes due to being unable to visit etc for Ollie’s family members.
