I got 100 & 300 to have a cool tone & a warm tone (now I want 200 and one of the pinker ones when they come to the US). The formula is so very unique!! It’s like nothing I’ve ever used before. I’m so glad I got them! 100 is my favorite. I have all of the quads you compared to 100 (except Metal Lust, sadly.) I love them all. I guess I have a type! I do feel like I get different looks from each! (I don’t even think I’m kidding myself when I say that! 😂😂)

When I was younger, I always had a luxury quad or quint in my handbag or clutch. I always used them to touch up and loved having those tiny tools in the palette to make things work.

This looks really stunning on you and the formula is interesting. It always makes me smile when you are hyped up about the products as the energy is contagious. Although I am always drawn to this colour story I’ve realised these tones of brown make me look 💀 it will be interesting to see the other quads if they finally come to an oz store though.

Martina, I knew this would be the Quad you'd be interested in. I do think that the majority would all look lovely on you, even the blue/green, yet I think that would be outside your comfort zone. I always love the reactions when I see content creators open up the boxes of the large Couture Clutches, as I was no different! It appears that many are in awe with the look of these palettes too. They're something completely different. I could definitely see this palette with a red lip too. These are the shades I wore mostly in my 20s & 30s before going overboard. The larger palettes are mostly Face Palettes and so very convenient. The only one that I'd call an eye palette is Tuxedo, which is cool-toned, but there is still a shade that can be used as blush, contour and one for a highlighter. You'd have a very hard time picking up the others, except for Saharienne, Desert Nude and maybe Tuxedo. I missed the very first and Marrakech, despite the latter not being Limited Edition. The palette from the Christmas before last would have been right up your alley. It had quite neutral tones but with two shimmers, two blush and the rest eye-shadows, although you can use them as you like. Tuxedo would be a good fit for you, but don't be put off by the deeper shades as they blend out beautifully. I'm surprised that Dior's Soft Cashmere wasn't already on your radar. I'd love to have that one too, yet I have so many shadows already - although never say never! It's the Quad that just about everyone is drawn to and always looks a stunner. My Shisheido Purple and Blue Mascara arrived today and can't wait to use them when feeling better. I tried the green first and just loved this mascara, especially at only $40.00 at Mecca. They're nowhere near as scary as they sound as they are deeper shades, not like Pat's bright ones. I've always been intrigued by coloured mascara. You can use black first and just add a little to the ends of the lashes. Anyway, I'm so glad that you liked the YSL Quad. There aren't any palettes I wouldn't try, yet I'm trying to be good and restrain. Great to see you review it, although that shipping - ouch! Take care, Kris.🇦🇺💖🕊

Ohh I didn't know the bigger palettes are for face too, that's so cool! I'll check out the Tuxedo one and see if that's my vibe. The ones I've seen have been too pinky/red for me and I know I won't get a lot of everyday use out of them but I'm dying to try them especially after this quad was so amazing. I don't know how I missed Dior Soft Cashmere honestly lol You're right in saying it is sooo up my alley haha so I'm glad everyone recommended it to me. Those mascaras sound very intriguing! I'll have to give them a look. I feel your pain on trying to be good and not buy too much haha Also sorry to hear you're still not well, I hope you get better soon 💗💗

Thanks for your well wishes and hope I get over this bug and persistent migraine too. Just be careful with the YSL Couture Clutch Palettes as they don't appear to be the same formula as in these Quads. I'd definitely test them first, especially as their original cost is $165.00. I'll send you some pictures of the ones I have if you don't mind. They're not always a cohesive colour story and it's also annoyed me that the last two Christmas Palettes and Saharienne are quite similar. It's a big investment, so make sure you absolutely love a palette first. Many buy them for the luxury packaging, but you want to make sure that you've chosen the right one. Allfeisty has all of them on her Channel, so you can see her use them. Don't expect anything mind blowing, as the are more suited to subtle looks, but can definitely be built up - especially Saharienne. So, there's your answer to the pinks/browns and 'not so inspiring' shades, it's because they are for the whole face which many don't release. I like the convenience of grabbing one and having everything included. My advice would be to test them first, as they have been out much longer than the new Quads. Take your IntensifEYES stick with you! DJ's or Myer should have something available. They're not going to be to everyone's taste, so tread carefully. Well, at least I got out of bed today and soaked until a prune in a lovely bath. I just need to build up some strength. Take care darl, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I am a cool toned shadow girl too. I was eyeing the Dior cashmere pallet was thinking about it and the next week they changed the phormula I was so upset I didn't buy it , I heard Ulta US may still have the og but I'm scared I'll end up with the new and it's not worth it I have watched comparison videos and they definitely ruined the shadows. I'm interested in the YSL pallet too it's so pretty. I'm the same I don't care how many same same different pallets I have ..lol I'm drawn to that color story .

I still have an old YSL quint that’s decent quality. The color story is incredible but the formula is middle of the road. These quads look boring in comparison to my quint tbh but maybe they’ll get more interesting in the next installment. Good to hear the quality is there now.
