Sounds like a Dior Homme 2020 fragrance that no one will like until they get past the naming and comparisons of predecessors. Then all of a sudden someone will say it’s actually really good and you don’t smell like the gummy bear versions. Time will prove it’s probably a solid frag for the 30 plus age group.

For a normal person who doesn’t own a lot of fragrances that goes to the store to buy a fragrance will like this. I can tell u 100% sure that knowing what I know and owning what I own I will end up owning this fragrance again like I said as it’s not bad it’s just basic and I would rather wear the EDP the edt or live or le Parfum over it in any situation. But again it’s good just nothing new or special

@@bestacescenarioI have no issue with the name at all. As a reviewer I’m just pointing out that based on the name it’s not intense. But my wife who knows nothing about Fragrance but loves the y line said the same as me it’s good but the others in the line are much better and it is not worth $158. I’ll never say it’s not good I’ll always say it’s redundant and the least appealing in the line

But no one will ever consider a $158 Fragrance underrated and I’m 100% sure that in a years time people will still say this is the lone wolf in the line that just didn’t get better than the previous release or close

I'm not feeling any of these reviews on the intense version. The company stated that the intense version is supposed to appeal to the more mature audience, however the latest intense reviews have been comparing it to the juvenile Eau De Parfum. Chicken or egg, heads or tails, which one do people want.

Y EDP gives me such a headache. Im loving this new one. It's fresh and delicious. Must own over the EDP in my opinion.

I was given YSL EDP as a Christmas present and I truly wanted to love the fragrance. Unfortunately, the apple note that's in it, makes it overly sweet for me, and it truly gives me a headache as well. This is why I'm very interested in trying out the new release now that the apple note has been taken out.

U might wanna try the le Parfum and the y live. This one not only removes the apple notes but it dumbs down the fragrance to its basics. While it still smells good the other two are far better and I get a headache from the EDP as well

Spot on especially with scent profile. It’s a nice smell but would not for sure if it’s worth the price especially with the price hike. Save your money for essentials like eggs or gas and other things they rise the price on and blame it on the supply chain 😂😂😂

For longevity it’s the le Parfum but for performance overall it’s the EDP as the le Parfum is closer to the skin and the EDP is a beast mode projector and lasts 10+

I just checked if its available at YSL (Europe) which it is probably since yesterday. I randomly checked the detailed notes of all of them and actually officially YSL Y EdP has no Apple and I compared to some authentic and major retailers which have the same description and breakdown, I guess YSL EdP never had Apple 😄

Nice review Randy , I was really excited for this one but I’m quite disappointed by Ysl with this one. So far the only two I’m looking forward to are the Valentino intense and the givenchy one.

Just make sure when you try it that you don’t just go off the opening and give it a full wear before purchase as the opening is nice but then it just dulls down

I still say Y EDP is the best blue frag out there. Love it and always get good results. See when designers do this it isn’t worth releasing. Might as well gone a complete different route or just brought Y live to us

nope. It's basically the EDP minus some notes. The Parfum is basically a more sophisticated and dark version of the EDP. The Intense is more dumbed down.

Never been that much into the Y's. Yes, they smell pleasant, but to me there's always something missing. I'm really excited about Bvlgari's Rain Essence tho. I gotta keep an eye on that one.

I have the edp and it smells fresh and fruity to me but blasts the room out, I also don't find it lasts 8 hours, lucky if I get 3-4 on skin or clothes 🤷‍♂️

Total cash grab. Seems simplistic-I get the juniper part a lot, some sage, and woods. It's basically a stripped-down version of the EDP. The apple is gone, the ozone note is gone, and the sweetness is gone.
