that's why you should always play 3 instant fusion and millenium eyes restricted. Another tip is not to be greedy, i know a extra card from vampire sucker is so tempting, but not always a must if you already have you control field. And for the called, there is ghost belle :)

I really like that the majority of this zombie deck and the previous zombie deck profile can mostly be obtained through 3x Zombie Horde structure deck and you can just splash in the additional cards depending on your budget and how much you want to spend on the game. Even if you cheap out on this deck, I feel like as long as you understand the fundamentals of this deck you could outplay some people at locals who spent a whole lot more on their cards tbh.

All you really need is 3x Zombie Horde, 3x Duel Devastator, 2x MP19 Vampire Sucker, 1x Avendread Savior, 2x IGAS Jack-o-Bolan, 1x MP19 Vampire Fraulien and other tech according to the player's tastes and budgets. Sure 120 plus tax for a playset of DUDE sounds like a lot but its contents are UNIVERSAL and can be tech for ANY deck thus being an AMAZING investment for any level player.

Nice Deck Profile, you guys have been on a roll lately which is great because I freaking love Zombies. Have you ever considered running Shiranui Style Swallow Slash? It's. Extra disruption on top of everything you already would run, it helps take care of back row like a charm especially since the cost just comes back each turn. Plus if you run spirit master, you get an extra pop upon his banish. It's nuts! We shall Rise!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words we really appreciate it! You guys make it all worth it. So to answer your question, if I can be honest, I think swallow slash is just too slow. It requires too much set up and isn’t a guaranteed interruption unless you already have very specific things in grave.. plus being a trap it’s just too vulnerable in my opinion. I’d rather play stuff like the dangers or other extenders that help to push through/set up boards to ensure a guaranteed benefit every time. I am currently running the combo version of this deck. Just built this to show that zombies are also versatile and can play midrange! :) We are going to take this deck to the top!!! LETS GO!!!

I think that in the next updated zombie combo deck profile coming up you should play called instead of rivalry because most decks now are way more graveyard oriented and you could protect your self from handtraps and also avoid the chance that you might lock your danger cards out with rivalry,btw good job on updating the zombie control deck profile for jack a boolan, really solid for those who want to play the control variant.Keep up the good work!

So the reason I don’t play closed by is that the deck can typically just play through a ton going second. Also going first, instant fusion gets you Millenium Eyes which functions as kind of like CBTG. Once rivalry is up your opponent is locked out of their deck and extra deck.. so the lock is so strong. Plus 95% of the time you have doomking also with 2 interruption. One of which could be to banish any problematic issue in your opponents GY. The update it coming soon though. Pretty stoked to share it with y’all! :D

Yeah i think instant fusion is good and you should definitely play it and the ability it gives you to go first or second with both millennium and thousand eyes restrict is really good but what I mean is that in the combo variant of the deck there are alot of cards that arent zombies like your danger cards or your armageddon knight/malicious and rivalry sometimes might lock both you and your opponent out so I think changing rivalry to called by the grave is slightly better in my opinion because the chances of locking yourself out is no more and you could protect your combos from ash/ghost belle or orge or handtraps in general plus you might hit some other graveyard oriented decks like dinos,spyrals, heros or maybe even a zombie mirrior match but anyway good job to you on the deck overall, very consistent with the danger engine and its ratio( the previous one that you guys made)plus the good extra deck choices as well Looking forward to the updated one coming up!

One fun thing I've been trying with instant fusion is to splash in a copy of El Shaddoll Winda. Since its a proper fusion summon, you can revive it with Jack Boolan or Mezuki with Zombie World up. Jack also really helps unbrick Doomkings; if you have a Doomking in your hand, you can search Jack with Bloom, and discard Doomking for the summon of Jack. Then Doomking comes out in the standby phase.

I absolutely love zombies. I'm playing Vampire Zombies because I love being able to summon the vampire monsters by tributing your opponent's monsters via Sucker. It's a control variant that removes your opponent's monsters by summoning your own, then beating down your opponent and gaining back your LP via Domain. Utilitizing the zombie world engine makes it so much stronger. I can't think of any other deck that gets me so excited to play.

In the first combo, I felt as if you could’ve added Doomking using Bloom to your hand instead so you could’ve dumped it using Jack, so on your opponents turn Doomking resurrects and you’d have a set Called By, Doomking for neg and banish, Jack for gy stealing, and ash for neg.

Been experimenting with the other build and topped twice, barely missed the third (10th). I'm testing cutting 1 Rivalry and Bloom for 2 Jack. You can revive Scythe during the opponents turn, arma to make plays, or rip part of their board away. Also, great super Poly target to out SPYRAL: Almarduke. Edit: It works but has work that needs to be done.

Since I’m returning player and I don’t want to spend too much, do you think Triple Burst Dragon and the tenyi synchro monster are valid replaces to apollousa and the bls link? I know that they are really strong but since the meta isn’t stabilized yet (from what my friend told me) I really want to spend as less as possible. Thank you so much friend! So if I had to suggest any other options, I’d say triple Burst is very meh.. also, the tenyi synchro is pretty good. Something I used to do, was play decode and summon doomking to its arrows. So once your opponent tries to target you, you tribute him and just get him right back next turn. It’s a pretty cool protection effect.

I tried jack o bolan it's nice fit in my build I did tried two jack o bolan it bricked on me but I decide to slash it down to one jack o bolan is helpful for my deck but I did put the second jack o bolan in my side deck your build is kinda similar to mine but I decided to modified it alil bit i decided to add some spell and trap removals which are 3 twin twisters and two evenly matched but thanks for the guide also I thought you can only choose one of uni zombies effect one at a time only once per turn not active both effects at the same time.

As a Zombie player for many years, I myself can testify that zombies are a good choice for budget players in need of a returning build or just starting out. Zombie Horde was a godsend for getting everything a new or returning zombie player needed for their core build and almost everything you could ever want for that deck is now extremely cheap with all the reprints available. And the builds are as flexible as their player's mindsets and budgets. As much as I look forward to Shaddoll Showdown or learning how other decks work, Zombies will always be my go-to build. Sure, the pricey cards in your extra deck like Masqurena and Appolousa are nice but not vital due to hardly ever going into most of it with the exception of your core extra deck. For Example: Psy-Framelord Omega might be a tad pricey depending on budget but I rarely ever go into mine. I only make one Omega in probably 1 in 25 games if not never. Most plays come from the main deck with the extra deck being an occasional tool with the exception of certain cards like Sucker, Avendread Savior and available Super Poly targets but that is all dependent on the situations that arise. Nevertheless your build is SOLID and as an expert non-competitive zombie player , I took notes from your build which helped me solve some problems with mine. Thanks!

@@CrushCards Interestingly enough, my build was already 95 percent close to this one minus the pricey stuff short of the fact that I do favor synchro monsters but still understand the massive support that Vampire Sucker, Avendread Savior and Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon provides. it just helped me see the "good" but dead cards that I was too blind or biased to see. 15 years of playing zombies will do that to a player like myself. @@CrushCards A lot of the older stuff is really just power crept by recent releases. A lot of newer players do not really know how good they have it now as far as product contents goes. Back in the early days, you got very little out of your 3 structure/starter decks and had to hunt down the rest through packs and pony up some potentially serious cash at your LGS to get what you needed if you could and you did not have resources like tcgplayer.com or online storefronts to help you. Today it is like almost the polar opposite, Structure Decks are reprints galore, you have near complete build cores when you get 3 copies of the deck and you have the ability to complete decks fairly quickly and efficiently thanks to the various resources on the internet. But as far as older stuff goes,: Goblin Zombie, Book of Life and Zombie Master can have niche uses. Il Blud is slow on account of being a Gemini monster, Call of the Mummy can "Cyber Dragon" out your zombies but depending on your perspective its either too situational or can be a useful tool for further extending boards. Book of Life is a monster reborn and a D.D. Crow in one card which can make it a good 1 maybe 2 of but that depends on going second. I can go on for hours about older stuff and how it can be used as potential budget tech for poorer players who can't afford stuff like Impermanence, Masqurena, etc. When Zombie Horde was announced, I pre-ordered 6 decks. 3 for myself and 3 for my girlfriend so I could teach her the wonders of playing this versatile archetype. The build I have for her is an almost identical duplicate of my own except less shiny.

On the going second you can go into sucker then mizuki into doomking draw a card then go into BLS link with the 1st sucker still in so you still get the draw from doomking on the next turn and still have the the BLS on board

I don’t believe you can. :-/ BLS requires 3 whole materials. Doomking and sucker are only 2. Plus, UCT can just beat over BLS.. that’s why I chose to go more for a “combo play.” Also, I only play one Sucker so I can’t draw on my opponents sp.... wish I had room for a second. :-/

You do have 4 monsters in the board the fusion unizombio doomking and the vanp you use the fusion and the doomking to go into sucker banish misuki special doomking draw a card use the vamp doomking and unizombio for you guessed it BLS

Doomking can either banish or negate once per turn not both unless you have 2 copies of it on the field. Also you cannot ash necropolis banshee as it is activated from the deck.

Doomking can activate both effects in the same turn. They just have to be in separate chains. :) that’s why he is so broken. He is a hard once per turn though, so having multiples doesn’t do anything for you. :-/

I have a friend who used zombies at one point, and I still get PTSD when Zombie World hits the field. Salad cannot survive the type change, which ruins 95% of my plays when I play Salamangreat.

Fraulein at 1? Tisk tisk.....it’s essential for protecting sucker. I run a 60 card variant that’s actually really good. I did it originally cause I had more ideas for the control but then it turned out to be stupid good. I took my original 40 card control that was very similar and just added to it and played to see what held the most weight with the intent of cutting, I took it and ran with it cause it just kept winning though, I just tweaked it. I added hela to the mix and it’s very ridiculous. With zombie world, if you can get Armageddon either in grave or in hand, you can use him over and over to get an insane amount of dumping going. Anyways, hela really helps to chain break against negates, get doom king triggered especially when the opponent takes out your zombie world (the decks biggest weakness was its reliance on the field spell) and to continue gaining advantage. Gozuki and bloom at 3 help to get her out and once she’s out from hand the grave summoning is easy from jack, mezuki, reborn etc. goblin zombie with hela is also insane. I like to use hela on goblin, get back whatever you need, usually a jack, Armageddon, fraulein etc. and use the search to get ash or bell. If you have both you can summon say your opponents orcust or the like with jack, upon summon use hela to tribute the orcust to get Armageddon essentially banishing a key piece of theirs to dump your key pieces. It’s also important to note you can fizzle negates with hela.

I think instant fusion is still the better call. Even going first, after you've protected your plays with millennium you can link it off for sucker, and revive it for a draw, and you have that extra disruption the next turn

Can I ask why you don't run card of safe return and pyramid turtle? Pyramid turtle can let you bring out your boss monsters a lot faster and card of safe return lets you draw every time you SS from your grave. Also no plague spreader?

It’s a great card but it’s just so slow. It isn’t a combo extender and it just replaces itself. It’s not a neg, but it’s also not a plus. In the synchro version it’s a great card though! Needle fiber makes it broken.

110% combo! It’s just (in my opinion) stronger, it can push through so much more. Goes first or second no problem. Updating it as we speak! Just wanted to put this profile up in case people didn’t want to play combo.. We always try to provide options so that the player base can build according to their liking. :D

That’s correct. However that presuming they still have a monster left. Frauline can only bump when a monster battles another monster. :-/ you clearly 3 cards make it really hurts them 😏

So I think Jack is way too bricky, especially because you can search it off bloom. Same with zombie world, you can search it off banshee, so no real need for terraforming. SS is a good interruption going first but going second it’s just too slow 🙁

I also seen you’re super poly targets. Instead of playing starving venom, I recommend playing World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke bc if you are facing off spyral it’ll help nuke there good link monsters on board. You don’t need starving venom bc you have dragonecro

Actually glow up should be played on 3, you get so much value out of discarding glow up, also you got a lot of targets. So you end up on balerdroch and jacky just with one dicard and dont need to send it with uni zombie. Also, you want to see jacky in your opening hand, so 3 of! EDIT2: Play the shiranui trap and swordmaster, you can banish the opponents monstet and change it for 3 pops and a possible ss.

Its Spiritmaster btw, not swordmaster ^ I think glow up at 2 works better than 3. Theres times where you'll see it, (prolly moreso at 3) without a way to discard it from hand. So most of the times, you'll use a normal on it if you cant get into a discards source (uni-zombie, jack-o etc for linkuriboh.) I think 2 is sort of where it's good. I'll have to playtest Jack at 3 tho. I happened to just have 2 after the sneak for ignition, though I think it's fine there.

Yay ZOMBIES! [Cue lifeless cheer-groaning] As much as I like the Zombie Danger! interaction, I also love the idea of "pure" zombie contol, especially using the new support. Jack-o-Bolan is looking good in this deck! I especially love how budget this deck is! [Barring BLS and Apollousa, of course] I remember people saying Salad Structure Deck is the best structure deck to date, but I still prefer Zombies! Also, what would be the difference between Armageddon knight and a 3rd Gozuki? Interestingly enough, I remember also recently seeing a similar build on KZbin, though it opted for 3 Instant Fusion instead of 3 Ghost Bell. Dude was using Instant Fusion to summon El Shaddoll Winda to disrupt opponent's special summons, with Mezuki and Jack-o-Bolan for recursion (in addition to the usual Thousand Eyes Restrict plays]. Suffice to say, you could hear evil zombie cackling from my room. [Sounding more like a wheezing chainsmoker for that zombie effect]

The reason I chose the arma over gozuki is because gozuki is a HOPT... arma is not ;) but I agree this structure deck is nuts!!!! It’s such a great buy and they are slowly starting to rise in price.

I'm just fortunate it hasn't changed price in Walmart.ca here in Canada at least (Still $16.92 CAD, so Canadian Yugioh fans should REALLY go for those decks while this is still the case!).

Funnily enough, when I first bought 3 Zombie Horde structure decks (online, they were smart to NOT leave lying about in the stores), something went wrong with the delivery (apparently didn't get the notification as the email dress had been misspelled), so Walmart cancelled my first delivery's transaction at my request and I re-purchased the decks. However, after my 2nd delivery arrived, the 1st one ALSO arrived. So, I go to return the other delivery out of honesty, but the Walmart Customer Service tells me to just keep and enjoy the 3 extra structure decks! So, I basically ended up with 6 structure decks at the price of 3! I was a pretty happy camper that day!

It’s really up to personal preference, however, that being said, we think that the combo version just does more and can play through a lot more.

say zombie world is on the field, my opponents controls a monster and tries to summon another monster. can i chain rivalry of warlords to the summon so they have to send one of their monsters or would it already be a zombie at that point.

So you would have to activate rivalry on the first summon for it to be most effective.
