@@rylenesantiago3909 Hi Rylene. Ung isa sa condition ng 2021 Resident Visa, dapat nandito sa New Zealand as of 29 Sept 2021. Kung considered critical worker siya and makakabalik siya before 31 July 2022, puwede pa siguro. Pero kung hindi, I'm not really sure, mukhang malabo. Best to consult with an immigration lawyer or adviser. Or puwede rin kayo tumawag sa INZ or hintayin ung further details from them. All the best to you and your family.

In my view Canada was fairer. The NZ one-off resident visa is unfair. For example, a student visa holder who knew this from social media before it was announced and applied for the post student work visa on 29th , then he gets the chance, but another one applied for a post student work visa on 30th September and missed out. Why should people who meet the same criteria be treated differently just because one knew this earlier than other. Some people came here 10 years ago and were separated from family for 3 years missed out, but some came here 2 years...can't speak English but are eligible. So unfair and ridiculous.

Well you have to have a cut off date. It is like the speed limit. If you drive at 100kms no ticket if you drive over 100kms you could get a ticket. You say that some migrants came out to New Zealand and have been separated from family. Well it is their own choice to come here and be separated. They can go back home anytime they want. Also I do not understand why so many people dislike their home country and want to abandon their own countries and abandon and separate their own families. I welcome you comments.

Hi Jong. May FAQs na nilabas si INZ and isa to sa mga tanong: "can applicants leave NZ if here on 29/09 and return before they apply?" Ang sagot po ng INZ: "People must be in NZ on 29/09 and be in New Zealand to apply. We can't force people to remain in NZ in the meantime, but if they can't get back to NZ they may lose their opportunity." Kung wala naman pong urgent reason para umuwi, better to stay until maayos niyo po ang residency ninyo para wala na pong kaba, sir.
