The bridge was built in the end but we had to wait a bit longer than planned, but better late than never. Bosnia and Herzegovina got that tiny bit of the coast just because the Ottoman Empire was trying to conquer the whole Balkan region and Dubrovnik was its own Republic back then, and well they did a trade, they gave the Ottomans a bit of the coast for not being attacked by them. And till this day the little coast belongs to Bosnia. I remember that Liberland guy, it was a total circus xD hahhaha That thing that made strange noises was the SEA ORGAN in Zadar... the sea plays the "music". We can even communicate with Ukranians or Russians even Polish people... slavic languages are connected, although it is harder but sometimes it works...sure but you have to talk very slowly so that people get what you say. The thing with Serbia though ...well we have a rough past with them. The most recent one was when they decided to attack my country in 1991 (similar to what is happening today with Ukraine). So some wounds are still fresh and there needs to be a lot of healing. Especially for the people who are still missing their loved ones , those they dont know where they lost their lives. I do have to say that Croatia looks good and we are moving forward, being a member of the European Union helps us a lot too. Sure there is of course still room for improvement when it comes to our economy for example but we are doing good. If you ever have the chance you have to visit our tiny country. Yeah...you can travel relatively cheap throughout Europe. Well we have winter season and summer season. The coast wont really have snow but it can reach on bad days 0°C but mostly it is around 10 to 15°C. Summer though can sometimes already start in May and last till October. Normally the whole summer is over 30°C. The inland though has colder winters. The climate is very diverse for such a tiny place. I dont know much about New Zealand either but I always wanted to visit it together with Australia.

A ne učimo ni mi o svima... o Europi možda najviše znamo jer eto igron slučaja se nalazimo na tom kontinentu pa je dosta toga povezano i s nama, al opet ne znamo ni mi sve o Europi a kamoli o drugim mjestima. Pogotovo povijest...geografija je malo drugačija. Ja se sićan da mi o Africi pa ni o Aziji nismo povijesno ništa baš učili...a geografski jesmo morali naucit imena država i glavne gradove i na slipoj karti pisat test. Tako da nismo ni mi 100%. A šta se Corone tiče zaboli me đon. Svaka država ima svoje metode i pokušali su sto bolje zaštiti svoje...volili neki te metode il ne to je druga stvar...to meni nije razlog da ne posjetim neke zemlje jednog dana.

Actually, in the past Dalmatia was held by Venice. Venice was very rich, and it bought Dalmatia from Hungary in order to prevent Dalmatian pirates to attack their ships. Well, Raguza (Dubrovnik) was competitor to Venice in trade business, so, in order to prevent Venice to attack Raguza, Raguza gave that land to Ottoman Empire, so that it would be a buffer between Venice (Dalmatia) and Raguza. That way Raguza was shielded from attack by Venice.

Imperiji i zemalje se mijenjaju i ljudi dolaze i odlaze ali puno ih i ostaju. I u Jugoslaviji je bilo pravilo, da je čovek građanin SFRJ a onda svoje nacionalnosti. Croatia isn't a bad place just its having trouble from its war past. Many there still have problems coping with the loss of so many and the emotional and mental toll is enormous. Its a fairly modern country but a lot of it still rural and kinda the same. Those who escaped the war ended up in the US mostly the midwest or NYC. Many have PTSD of some kind. the newer generation doesn't have it as they were raised away from violence but their parents are trying to get it together still.

Update: the bridge is finally done, the population dropped down from 4.5 to 3.8 mil (don't even ask why), the Croats are "huge" Catholics but don't ever ask them something theoretical about Catholicism because they wouldn't know the answer. It's a place where common sense came to die.
